Fifty Shades Freed location tour on the French Riviera Published By Alexandra Heilbron on May 09, 2018

Universal Pictures hosted a locations tour of the French Riviera to show us where Ana and Christian's honeymoon scenes were filmed for Fifty Shades Freed -- join us for a picturesque view of the scenic spots!

The film begins with Ana and Christian's lavish wedding, then shows them traveling by private jet to the south of France, where they enjoy the view of the Mediterranean Sea from the top of Roquebrune Castle in the medieval village of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, then lounge by the sea at luxurious Paloma Beach.

We visited both of these, as well as Casino de Monte Carlo (in the book, Ana and Christian go to a casino and since this is the most famous casino in the area, we're betting it would have been this one).

We also had dinner at Nikki Beach Monte Carlo and lunch at Les Deux Frères in the medieval village that Ana and Christian explored in the movie.

Not only that, but a highlight of the trip was having the opportunity to chat with Eric Johnson, who plays Jack Hyde, and Rita Ora, who plays Christian's sister Mia Grey, at the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, the luxurious hotel located right on the Mediterranean where the media and actors stayed during the trip.

Is this an actual your that is available to anyone, or was it just for the cast. I would absolutely LOVE to take this your. I've never traveled abroad, and for this I WOULD. I am so in Love with the Fifty Shades movies, and the scenery in Freed is breathtaking.

Hi Theresa, it was for the media, but all of the places we visited are open to the public and you're right, the scenery was breathtaking. If you decide to go, it's an experience you'll never forget. Paloma Beach, Roquebrun castle and the village of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin are all within a short car drive from the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat.
