Elton John recently admitted during an interview with UK GQ that he hasn't seen the critically acclaimed movie, Bohemian Rhapsody.
The 2018 Freddie Mercury biopic was a huge box office hit and went on to win four Oscars, including one for the star of the film, Rami Malek.
Elton was asked by GQ writer Dylan Jones if there had been any pressure on him to have Rocketman, the 2019 movie musical based on his life, to get a PG rating like Bohemian Rhapsody had.
He answered, "I have to say, Paramount was incredibly on our side. There was talk about the PG thing, but I said I can’t tell my life like that."
Elton added that he hadn't seen Bohemian Rhapsody because it would have been too difficult, having been a close friend. "I couldn’t watch it because I’m so close to Freddie. I’ve seen snippets of it and I thought that Rami Malek was fantastic, but being Freddie’s dearest friend, I couldn’t watch it."
