28 Days Later

You people who say it sucked, were expecting it to be a scary, horror movie as it`s being advertised. It shouldn`t have been advertised that way. It is definetely more sci-fi. It wasn`t scary, it was more of a `what if` sort of movie. What if it did happen? It was more creepy that anything. I just thought it was on some 12 Monkeys sort of vibe. Weird and different than most of the movies that are out now. That`s the reason why I liked it. But from the reactions of the people who left the theatre they either really liked, or they thought it was great. This movie was under-cover great...only for smart, intelligent people!

The only question this movie made me ask was "Why Did they say it was scarey". It`s not jump-out-of-your-seat scarey. But it`s not even remotely pschologically scarey. The concept that a virus speards is not scarey. It happens every day. The fact that Britain cannot communicate with other parts of the world is ridiculous. This movie was dumb

I loved it to pieces. The way it was shot gave it a creepy feeling that I thought was great. All the reflections over the shot were interesting to look at. If you like this movie, read The Day Of The Triffids by John Whyndm since it`s basically the same story and interesting to compare the two. Not really all that scarry, but a good physcological thriller. Makes you leave the theater asking questions. 5 stars.

Well, it would appear "The Exorcist" remains the champion. I believe it`s the barenaked ladies who sadi it best with "It`s all been done before." Sam Raimie and Stanley Kubrick would be spinning in their graves. All in all mediocre at best, wait for video. NOT SCARY IN THE SLIGHTEST, and not at all probable. If you want to be scared watch the exorcist.

If you like philisophical movies that holds a deep meaning than this is the movie for you..It wasn`t scary at all..but it was disturbing because it could actually happen

I thought this movie was great - I saw it 4 days ago, and am still thinking about it. I didn`t find it scary in a gory-movie scary way, but more of a creepy-movie way. I would recommed it.

oh my...this is actually like the stupidest movie...please dont waste your money...like what is with the happy music (yes there is HAPPY music) and nothing is scary...we laughed harder than we screamed...we didnt even scream...we jumped when the car alarm went off...like actually do not go see this movie

I don`t think the movie was supposed to be tradional horror movie scarey/jump out of your seat. It was more subdued and worked you into a state of suspense. I think the fact that it`s realistic is what makes it "boring" to some people. Go watch jeeperscreepers 2 if you want tradional horror movie cheese. Creepy... because you know what? That`s exactly what WOULD happen. Plus I really loved the violence :) I gave it 4 stars.

This Movie Sucked.... The Movie Tells You everything... It takes 28 days to realize how crappy it was... it gets crappier every day... untill 28 days after you see the movie... you notice it was the crappiest horror movie.... wasnt even scary....

It wasn`t what I expected. I was thinking more sci-fi than Horror. It was kinda like the night of the living dead kinda theme, but more character driven. Well done for what was intended.

I though this movie was absolutely terrible. Harry Potter was more scary. It was more than a comedy if anything. I laughed through the entire thing. I was bored out of my mind and so was everyone else in the theatre. The movie was too long, too slow, and definitely not scary. I don`t understand how people can call this horror for it was nothing of the sort. Waste of my time and not worth my money. Take it from me, not a movie worth seeing.

this movie was not anything special there are better horror movies out there. and don`t give me that "but it could happen" crap that dosen`t make a movie scary!

If you understand the threat of SARS [and what it could have been!], then this movie will scare you witless. 7 days after seeing this film, it still holds a very strong impression of what could happen - any day now in the real world. Too close to home...

It was a lot like a movie called Dawn of the Dead. Although i thought this movie was more plausable. I think what makes a good horror movie is just that, the fact that it is possible. I was a little freaked coming home to an empty house. Definately worth the money.

One of those movies that doesn`t really make you jump, but because it`s so possible, it leaves you with an eerie feeling long after you leave the theatre. Highly recommended.

Crap?? nuh uh!! Acting was great, story was great, camera angles were great, just the right amount of scary, disturbing, good plot, ORIGINAL!! sends a message and is all out GREAT! made my top 5 fave movies of all time.

What a great ride! Enjoyed it from start to finish. Kept me interested, kept me guessing, kept me on the edge of my seat. This is how horror films should be made. It was gory, but appropriately so, it was intense, without fakery -- gr8 movie.

Amazing..if you like Horror movies your gonna love this! This movie is just fantastic all around, it combines the best scary tactics of older movies with stuff that has never been done before, it is a must see.

28 Days Later... is not an overly scary movie, although it does have its moments. It also has, however, some incredibly beautiful and moving images. People complain that the movie isn`t scary or the "quality looks bad" but heaven for bid we should try something new instead of the mindless formulaic hollywood blockbusters. We should accept it for what it is and not compare it to our "regular" movies. 28 Days Later... is an excellent movie to experience.

Much better than your average horror film. Worth seeing if you enjoy this genre. Somewhat ironically it will be the horror junkie that has the most problems with it since much of the plot and sub-plot lines in the film seem to be direct copies from other films, but if you haven`t `seen them all` then this is a movie for you.

It was fairly creepy if you like zombie movies.... i think it had more potential to be scarier because there wasn`t much zombie action. It still did a good job tho

Great director. The actors were good, and the plot was so great that expensive special effects weren`t necessary. Great soundtrack, great filming...generally an awesome movie. Starting getting a little uncomfortable after awhile, but it is DEFINITELY worth seeing.

All i have to say is that if they brought the scary level a bit down it would have been a bit better but it was still the best scary movie i have ever seen!
