About Time

The movie was interesting, and the characters and actors were amazing. Each role had unique characteristics. PLUS, for me, I didn't really understand Tim at the beginning, then he became this lovable person. Rachel McAdams always is incredible. The other actors were equally entertaining. At the end, I felt sad, because it felt unfair, the time travelling, however, I quickly came back to reality. That's what movies are for, to make us be in it, for a short time.

This was a great movie, I would highly recommend it... Not only was it fun during the movie, but it also provided lots of post movie discussion. :D Now to find a dark place so I can go back and enjoy it again! ;)

I very much enjoyed this movie! It was the perfect mix between funny ad romantic. There were a lt of laughs and even some crying. The actors were fantastic and the film was really well written. I would definetly watch this movie again and buy it when it comes out on DVD.

About Time is a sweet romantic comedy that packs a meaningful message at the end. The acting is superb. The cinematography is beautiful. There are some things that are off: Time travel, lack of an underlying conflict but overall it is a really nice movie which I enjoyed. I would see it again.

About Time is the latest from Rachel Mcadams From the get go I only knew a little about the film. Having seen the premiere, I liked it, but I found that it felt like a romantic comedy version of The Time Travelers Wife, which she also starred in. I thought the performances were on par with what was to be expected of a genre picture. It was quite funny, and I would recommend it to others I just saw a lot of similarities to The Time Travelers Wife and found that a little distracting.

The acting's fine in this movie; everybody does their part of being charming, endearing. But there's so much to knock here: the lack of central conflict in the plot, the head-scratching lapses in logic, the overexposed close-ups, the ceaseless piano soundtrack, the romanticizing of middle-upper class white Britain... The movie has its moments, especially early on, but through its latter half I was just waiting for it to be over.

A good romantic comedy although the treatment of time travel had a lot of gaps. Great acting by Rachel Mcadams and Bill Nighy made this a fun movie to watch.

Its a good romantic movie for couples, speaks to the importance of the present. Interesting twist on a sci-fi theme, but reminded me a bit of time traveler's wife.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. If you like watching lovey dovey movies with a touch of humor, this is the movie to watch!

Richard's Curtis trade-mark all over the place and, yet, a movie full of surprises. By watching the trailers, one can expect to find a Bridget Jones Diary-kind-of-romantic-plot, however Curtis puts that aside and astounds the audience with a hillarious and insightful reflection about, obviously, the impermanece of things, of life, the appreciation of the here and now (it sound cliche, but with his images and screenplay the reflection goes beyond). The performances are AAA, specially those of Domhnall Gleeson and Bill Nighy. Just hi-la-rious.

About Time puts its own spin on the time travel genre and is a funny, intelligent and thoughtful film. Written by Richard Curtis of Love Actually and Notting Hill fame, the movie follows the story of Tim, played by Harry Potter’s Domhnall Gleeson, who discovers every male in his family can travel back in time. A pleasant change from special effects and violence. Great chemistry between main characters. Enjoyed it much more than I had anticipated. Not just for chicks!

Adorable, what a great movie, coupled with a great cast!

After seeing the trailer, I went into this movie without any expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised! It was incredibly enjoyable to watch: good British humour, relatable characters, and the time travel element wasn't done in a way that was too silly or gimicky. Mostly I loved that the whole movie was NOT the typical formulaic "get the girl, lose the girl, win her back" kind of thing. It expanded so much beyond a romance and there was a lot of wonderful focus on family relationships, and on life.
