Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason

SOOO FUNNY! I can not remember the last time I laughed so hard. Even at times when I was reluctant to laugh, I couldn`t help myself; and the fight scene is priceless. Sooo realistic. No complaints what-so-ever. I was a little worried when they detained her at the airport on the way back from Thailand, that this wasn`t quite so funny, or light-hearted, but it came together in the end, and made for some great moments. Highly recommend this flick. Ciao for now.

My friends and I went to watch Bridget Jones Part II in exactly the right way. We organised a girls` night out, smuggled chocolate into the Vue theatre at Cambridge, and claimed virtually one whole row of seats for our viewing pleasure. Loved the movie... it`s the sort that makes you laugh out loud. Admittedly, the film makers have capitalised on the idea that most of the audience will have seen the first Bridget Jones flick, and will therefore understand the continuations in plot and the uncanny way in which events tend to repeat themselves. But that`s just one of the great things about the movie and hey, if you ain`t seen the first one

Great movie, not just for chicks. I was only disappointed that the trailer showed so many of the best parts that would have been better as a surprise.

edge of reason was so funny and cute. colin firth is just amazing! if you liked the first you`ll love the second!

Renee Zelwiger is about as sexy as my feet after I`ve worked a 12 hour shift. I thought the first Bridget Jones movie was bad...but this is an all new low.

Funniest movie I`ve seen all year!

What a waste..so much like the first movie..VERY poorly done!

This was an amazingly BAD movie. I am female, I liked the first one, but this was a horrible movie. The script was awful, absolutely no character developement, I can`t believe anyone would PAY to see this. Yes, the acting was good, but the entire story was re-hashed from the first one, with unrealistic, and quite often stupid plot elements thrown in to make it seem more original than it was.

As good as the first. No surprises here. If you liked the first one, you`ll like the second.

All the funny parts are in the preview. Well worth the price on a cheap night. However, not $13. Generally funny but with a few absurd twists. Funnier than the first.

A cute movie, but definatly not as good as the first one. With the first movie I could relate and laugh because I could see myself up there on the screen. This one though was far less believable and not quite as laughable. The acting was superb, but the script definatly lacked.

Someone seems to have altered the voting process here. This movie was excellent. It is rare to find such a great sequel. I do not believe the bad reviews.

I liked this one better then the first. How on earth did this movie get such a low rating? I rate these movies often and know when a movie sucks, this one did not suck.

Really funny & sweet like the 1st one. Rene & Colin did a wonderful job reprising their roles.

I thought that this sequel far outshone the original. I laughed a lot more and even though it got a bit ridiculous at times, I still left the movie feeling like I had got my money`s worth. I really recommend it--especially if you liked the first one.

I went in thinking this movie would be cute and enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised at how much funnier I found this one to be compared to the first one. And it took some turns of events that I did not anticipate. I loved this movie.

Really enjoyed it and the stars were fabulous. Had recently read the book and noticed the movie had a few extra surprises. Hope there will be a sequel.
