It was a good movie except I feel that it was a bit predictable. Overall a good movie.

EXCITING

More than 50% of users gave it 5 stars. I gave it a 4. Go and see it and know that most reasonable viewers would enjoy it. The 1-2 stars are unjustifiable,over-critical emotionally-driven harsh judgments of a well made film....the criticisms made by those who say things like `this is the worse movie I have ever seen` should never be trusted. They don`t deserve our attention.

My friend and I - late 40`s - both really enjoyed this movie!

It was a great movie! With lots of suspense. People who did not enjoy it are ones that over analyze it all and have to figure it all out before it all happens. Sit back relax and just let it happen. Movies are only enjoyable when you keep personal opinions about a star out of it and dont try to figure it all out in the start. Just sit back watch and enjoy the moment! Might find you like a movie much more...

I ignored my bladder pain - it was that good.

this is definately one of the hardest movies to watch. Your on your tows right after the setting all the way to the end. Its a great suspense movie with many twists and turn that you thought u should have known but didn`t.

Completely predictable and insulting. Very hollywood ending, too. Too many holes in the plot. Good rental, but don`t waste a trip to the movies for this drivel.

I wanted to slap the Clive Owen character (one hour out of the theatre and I can`t remember his name...not a good sign). No-one would make so many stupid choices in a row! And the "nod nod wink wink" between him and the detective at the end..please. Too many bodies, too many coincidences...suspend belief all ye who enter the theatre.

Excellent movie! A little slow-moving at times, but definitely a suspensful movie with a surprising ending. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good thriller!

I thought it was a pretty good movie. Some surprises that I didn`t see coming.

Very slow to st art then frantic to get to the end. Should have been more evenly paced. Aniston was surprisingly good. A waste of Clive Owen.

Mehh it was alright

I absolutely loved it. I think Jennifer Aniston was a good choice because everyone is so used to see her play good characters that noone will ever suspect she will turn out to be a bad one... Clive Owen was a little dry, but everyone around him picked up the ball where he dropped it.... Definetely a 5 star movie.

What a piece of garbage! Predictable and shoddy work. Too bad because the first half hour is engaging. After that, it plummets at full speed. Audience members were laughing at some of the preposterous scenes. Not a good sign when this is supposed to be a suspense `thriller`. Ugh...save your money!

The ending was good the rest, not. Without trying to give to much stuff away, real people don`t act like this. Clive Owen`s character totally would have gone to the cops, and how did the wife not notice $130,000 missing from their account, especially if it was supposed to help the sick daughter? Good twist and great ending aside, a mediocre story, with mediocre acting and mediocre dialogue between mediocre characters.

The first 2/3 of the movie was really good. Unfortunately, the movie quit and they couldn`t get it back running, so we had to leave not knowing the ending. We got free movie passes, but who wants to go to a movie and watch the beginning all again to see the end. So, I think that it will be a definate rental when it comes out.

IT WAS SOOOOO AWESOME!!! MY BOYFRIEND DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WAS ABOUT, AND HE LOVED IT! MY HEART WAS RACING THE WHOLE TIME THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE! SUCH A GOOD TIME

What a great movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Both Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen played their parts well. The only thing bad is that it can be rather disturbing at times.

I do not have a clue why anyone would not give this movie a 5 star rating it was amazing. It had a great story, lots of twists and turns, it really just had everything a movie needs...suspense, action, comedy, great movie.....GO SEE IT

this movie was awesome. it makes you think as soon as u walk out of the theatre that so much is possible and so much is happening in the real world.

This movie is realy good. I don`t know why some people didn`t like it.. great story, great acting. Go see it.

This movie was extremely bad!!!

We thought the movie was great! Because of everyone`s comment about the `twist` at the end it got me analyzing and I figured out the end at the beginning, but it still never spoiled the movie for me. With the amount of movies being made it`s pretty hard to do something totally original anymore. Why can`t you people stop complaining and just enjoy it for what it is - a great thriller!

I found it to be really entertaining and it keeps you at the edge of your seat. U never know what to expect there are twist and turns everywhere...

The movie was so predictable, it was pretty much recycling other plots I`ve seen. THen they`re trying to market it as this `new` surprise ending. I saw that ending before half way through the movie. Its just lame, the Clive Owen charater is so irritating. It was just a waste of time over all. Do not go see it, not even a renter.

derailed is a brilliant movie,it can be looked at as predictable, but every thriller(or any other genre) can be. putting this aside, it will have you glued to the screen as every twist, turn, and surprise leads to another!!!!!!very well put together and each actor played their role very well, and yes jennifer can act outside of a comedic or romance role!!!!cheers to the all the people who made this movie, its very well worht that trip to the theatre!!!

it was better than average it duse have some twists that keep you in the movie. the only thing bad about this movie was the piotless ending.
