It was a very good movie and the funny parts were great, but whoever put the film together did not cut it very well.

Saturday, July 18, 10:55:40 PM

loved it, loved it, loved it soooo much better than the others

Saturday, July 18, 10:48:28 PM

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Best one yet. Not as dark and action-packed as the others. Lots of cute scenes and funny lines.

Saturday, July 18, 10:36:37 PM

Not only disapointing but also madening!! I hope somebody else in the future remakes this series because this movie and the film version of Order have destroyed the plotlines of the books.

Saturday, July 18, 10:36:34 PM

The ending sucked... dont believe people who say they saw it 3 times!! great build up... then nothing... end of the movie .. the whole theater was murmuring "what??" rent it and save you money

Saturday, July 18, 10:27:39 PM

this movie is absoultly wonderful all the reviews saying its bad are so wrong it is great i cant wait for the next 2 movies the parts are played great but they do leave us sort of hanging at the end but it is the same as in the books end and the romance is great it adds to a good movie all together with humor and love and action if your a huge harry potter fan go and see it if your not see it but dont leave comments to make us harry poter fans mad it was a GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday, July 18, 08:01:56 PM

To be honset I am more than just disappointed. I feel cheated. The scenes I was most looking forward to seeing were cut out to make way for a bunch of crap that was not in the book.

Saturday, July 18, 07:23:29 PM

A LOT of stuff was cut out - because I read the book I was able to follow the plot but a few of my friends who hadn't said it was completely random. The romance and comic relief was cute, though. Overall, wasn't amazing or anything...

Saturday, July 18, 06:50:06 PM

Good but long movie. Can't wait to see the next one!

Saturday, July 18, 06:43:01 PM

very disapointing. where is all the emotion from the book?

Saturday, July 18, 06:10:19 PM

Very disapointed with this movie. My favorite book is HBP and, as a whole, I did not enjoy the movie. The Snape/Dummbledore scene at the end had no emotion, and then they didn't even show the funeral which is possibly the biggest scene up to now. Tried way to hard to be funny, and although I did laugh a little bit it was more because of how bad the scenes were. Choppy and rushed, it was even more of a let down than Order of the Phoenix.

Saturday, July 18, 03:58:06 PM

I loved it!! Although, it felt like some of the important scenes were rushed, but the movie can only be so long...

Saturday, July 18, 03:54:57 PM

this movie was the best one yet! i saw it 3 times!

Saturday, July 18, 02:12:34 PM

The ending was a let down even if you didn't read the books...there was a big lead up and no follow through...I really think they needed to follow the last few chapters of the book..it would have been a more climatic ending if they had...instead it was to total bore!!!

Saturday, July 18, 01:30:47 PM

This movie had so much potential but it was a HUGE letdown. It was just jumping from scene to scene to cover as many topics as it could but it failed to fully develop any story. The 2 and a half hours wizzed by since the audience was so interested in the characters but in the end all that could be heard in the theatre was a disappointing sigh. Ive never seen people walk out of a harry potter movie until this once. 1/5

Saturday, July 18, 11:29:36 AM

luv it

Saturday, July 18, 09:51:39 AM

I ignored the bad reviews this has been getting and went to see it anyway. Now I wish I hadn't.

Saturday, July 18, 08:20:39 AM

I think there was more comedy to this then ACTION! Before I thought that I'd have to close my eyes the whole movie because it would be scary but I didn't have to because there was not a lot of action to scare me!

Saturday, July 18, 08:10:45 AM

It wasn't the best Harry Potter movie but it wasn't the worst. I think there should have been more action in there to.

Saturday, July 18, 04:10:43 AM

Pretty silly movie with crappy special effects. I also question whether this latest installment is violent enough to keep today's young audiences interested. On a scale of one to ten, this one's a 3.

Saturday, July 18, 01:49:16 AM

save your money! what a waste of a night!

Saturday, July 18, 01:45:11 AM

There was so much buildup and then the ending just lets you down. There was NO climax, NO action; just a lot of random scenes strung together. what a mess of a movie! ONe of the WORST movies ive ever seen and im a huge HP fan...

Saturday, July 18, 01:43:00 AM

The movie was a huge let down. Things that were never in the book were add for no apparent reason, epic battles were deleted and the ending fell flat.

Saturday, July 18, 01:03:47 AM

For what its worth it was really well done. I mean with J.K. Rowling making sure that all the important stuff is still going to be incorporated into the final movie from this one. I mean some stuff was missing, and some people seem to think that there should have been more. But the little things you thought they would cut, they didn't. It is just a very well rounded film all around. So worth going to see if you LOVE Harry Potter!

Friday, July 17, 11:55:57 PM

Absolutely the worst movie I have ever seen. There was no plot what so ever, just a bunch of random stuff happening. A waist of 12 bucks and three hours of my life. Should have watched the proposal instead.

Friday, July 17, 11:32:56 PM

fabulous

Friday, July 17, 10:41:36 PM

As a fan of the series... it made me angry to sit through this, spent most of the movie shaking my head..... 3/4 of the movie is a dull, boring and pointless drama. Did Danielle Steele write the plot for this movie? 2 years since the last movie for this? Save your money folks.

Friday, July 17, 09:56:46 PM

AAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEE!!!

Friday, July 17, 08:15:01 PM

Very well done! all the important things needed for the next movie were included!

Friday, July 17, 07:12:39 PM

The best one yet! The perfect blend of action/adventure, suspense, comedy, horror and romance. Yes, different from the book, but still absolutely fantastic!

Friday, July 17, 07:00:32 PM

well although it was somewhat of a different style and yet the same (you'd have to see it to know what i mean), i think what they were aiming for was a more mature film as the characters are noticibly aging. as they grow up so does the style or maybe not so purposely the overall feeling from the audience. half blood was a very good movie in senses allthough i think they failed to realize the audience for the genre doesn't want to grow up and isn't necessarily looking for "mature". the only other shortfall in my opinion is all other movies in the series seemed to run a more direct course and have a more defined conclusion. half blood seemed to be more of a setup for the next chapter than a ch

Friday, July 17, 06:45:48 PM

Great movie, much better than the last one!

Friday, July 17, 06:31:17 PM

I loved this movie from beginning to end. The subject matter and the length may be a bit much for younger kids

Friday, July 17, 04:21:10 PM

BEST ONE YET!! I was woried about some of the other reviewes, but it was awesome as expected!

Friday, July 17, 02:35:05 PM

best Harry Potter movie yet, awesome!

Friday, July 17, 02:34:25 PM

finally, a harry potter that's well done. a good amount of action, but also a ton of actually really funny parts. obviously some details have been changed and some parts have been added, which is fine to an extent but the burning of the burrow for no apparent reason was a bit much. overall though, excellent movie. all the actors (except for dumbledore) did a great job and made it a very entertaining film.

Friday, July 17, 02:12:44 PM

wow, not what you would you would call the novel's twin. the movie focused more on the "raging hormones" (even though theres hardly any harry and ginny) instead of preparing harry for the end. as for the action; THERE IS NONE. the whole movie is as if there trying to compete with the twilight sage, when they pertain to different things. a let down, to what I was expecting, seemed choppy and under developed even though it was 2 and a half hours long. two much lavender, and not enough long bottom and snape. hope the hollows is better.

Friday, July 17, 12:00:15 PM

I was really disappointed with all of the Dumbledore scenes, especially the ending. It felt rushed and it didn't evoke all the emotion it should have. It was an otherwise entertaining movie with all the comedy. Maybe there was too much comedy and not enough of the action I had expected of this movie.

Friday, July 17, 11:00:14 AM

The 6th book is my absolute favourite but the 6th movie is my least favourite! It was so disappointing in that the end was a MASSIVE let down with the action being practically non-existent. And what was with the burning of The Burrow??? That doesn't even happen and why would they do that as it kind of screws over the next movie, plus they never came back to it! What purpose did it serve?? And what was with all the silent pauses in the dialogue which made it seem even choppier and taking away precious time they could have devoted to a great fight scene at the end. Though I must say the actors are becoming very good, especially at humour, and growing into fine young adults! And the details in

Friday, July 17, 09:50:59 AM

Movie was ok, more comedy than action.
