watchable..thinking what movie to watch during this time in the theater, this one would solve that issue.

Duller audiences will find it boring and run out of the theather. But those with a higher level of interests will be greatly entertained. Though some of the portryals were inacurate, none the less the movie did show how People misuse religion for their own evil deeds. If only accurate historical facts and stores could be presented at this scale. :D

Outstanding, couldn`t ask for a more compelling and enjoyable movie about history. Action, what more could you ask for, than the director of Gladiator to do action sequences. Story makes the movie good, action helps. Hats off to the scott brothers, best directors out there.

This movie was a masterpiece, very accurate, fantastic acting , splendid sets and awesome costumes, i have never watched a movie silently in my life , i have always talked but this one just kept me focused, very impressive piece of work , i found it better then gladiator, worth every penny even though i didnt pay for the ticket but i will take my family n watch it again.

And amazing movie, and after I did some research it is very close to actual factual history. It`s only fault was that the plot was hard to follow if you did not know much of the history, They offered very little background history to the story. However, it was a great movie and the supporting cast was excellent. And, of course, Orlando Bloom was looking as good as ever.

I found this film to be typical Hollywood. It`s not a bad thing if thats what you came to see. Lots of battle, blood, guts, a steamy romance, a guy in the year 1184 with modern religous views and you get the ending you want. Would I ever see it again? No. Did I enjoy it? Sure. Why not. Its Hollywood baby Yah. If you were looking for something historically correct, go look somewere else.

This movie was absolutly brilliant , Orlando did a great job!! it made history look so interesting! Overall this movie is DEFINALTLY WORTH SEEING!!!! ( you`ll love as much as me and im 14!)

No story line. HORRIBLE. Anyone who voted more than one star for this movie must be a teenage boy who is quite content paying 10 bucks to watch people run around with swords for 2 hours. WASTE OF MONEY.

This was an exceptional movie. I haven`t seen one this good in a while. All of you who said that this movie was boring and you had to walk out should stick to watching your usual type of useless movies like Hitch. Anyone who is remotely interested in great portrayals of history with excellent acting, should see this movie...

Not worth the time or money. Don’t be fooled by studio hacks that get paid to frequent sites like this and write glowing reviews. I wouldn’t even rent it when it comes out on DVD.

Good, story not very believable though

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE TRAILER AND THE REVIEWS. This movie is horrible, really bad. The story was never "focused" and Orlando was definitely a wrong pick. The movie starts ok, then the story goes nowhere for the next hour where it is extremely boring. The ending doesn`t "feel" like an end. Overall, the film was a disappointment, and only worthy of a DVD rental. Trust Me.

Horrible, full of bullshit and lies. It is like justifying what Hitler did in the two world wars or justifying what happened in Rwanda.Simply pathetic. Crusader were barbarians, who slaughtered Muslims, Jews and even Christains and that is the truth. Unfortunately for certian people history cannot be altered. Justifying and portraying such horrible deeds as heroic acts is disgusting. I would advised the viewers to take this movies as an opportunity of finding the correct facts and see the truth behind the barbaric acts of the templars.

Discover Channel stuff, not a theater material. BOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRING! I walked out.

Good movie, but all Hollywood. I just wish they would make a movie historically correct. Enough with trying to please everybody. If you are going to make a movie on history or a historical topic, do not be politically correct. Effects, cinematography, music, etc.... All very good along with the acting. 7 stars out of 10.

I don`t know why they spent millions making this turkey when all they could have done was super-impose Orlando Bloom`s face over Russell Crowe`s in The Gladiator with some fancy software and a laptop computer.

the movie was extremely boring! just a piece of fake, uninspired theatre. the costumes were about the best part of it all. the acting was cheap, especially Orlando`s. I couldn`t get into it, and I don`t recommend it at all.

KING OF THE THEATERS

I thought that Kingdom of Heaven was an excellent movie and I enjoyed every minute of it. I thought the Crusades was an excellent topic to do a movie on because these wars are still going on today and will go on forever and most people do not know this. Ridley Scott did an amazing job on the film as well as the actors. I was very impressed with Orlando Bloom`s performance as well as Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, and Liam Neeson. One of my favourite movies!

As a teacher of world history i was amazed at the insight given us regarding the Leper king and the magnificent role he played, as well as the humanity given to Saladin and the accuracy of his character. As if this wasn`t enough, i felt transported to a new world, rich in visual splendor and sumptuous in its accurate rendition, from warfare to costumes and architectural special effects. I found myself in awe-I willl take my class to see it and they will finally see what i raved about all day today. thanks Ridley for another great film, one which i am sure will become one of my favorites

a master piece

"Kingdom of Heaven" is probably about as good a movie as anyone could make about the Crusades. This was a ghastly though vitally important stretch of history when Western civilization, whipped up by religious fervor and bitter poverty, confronted the Muslim world with both the sword and cultural arrogance. - Jonnie "D"

Great Crusade Movie

Orlando totaly redeemed himself in the battlefield from his cowardice of portraying Paris of Troy!.

omg it was horrible, the story is boring, the acting sucks... well most of it, i can admit some acting was good. but the majority of the movie was dull and uninspired. far to few actions scenes and the main battle at the end seemed boring and draged on. i found myself checkin my watch every 20min at about the hour mark i was so bored. i just couldn`t get into this movie even though i had looked forward to it so much.

This movie was amazing. SO meaningful, and SO accurrate. Orlando Bloom did an amazing job, and Ridley Scott has done it again!! I am a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of historical films and this is one of the best. The music is beautiful, and the fighting scenes r so well crafted, it makes u feel as if ur in the battle urself!! I loved it, and if you havent seen this movie yet, i suggest u go see it...NOW! *Arista*

Wicked film. The best so far this year.

This was a great cinematic experience. Visually stunning, great characters and first-rate acting. I was worried that Orlando Bloom might not be able to carry a movie of this magnitude, but he has definitely matured and pulled it off beautifully. Ridley Scott deserves his status as an icon of film. This is impressive stuff.

the movie was average - a little on the boring side

kingdom of heaven was an excellent movie..well shot, directed, and acted...orlando bloom showed that he can be known for more then just the lord of the rings films...it was a bit historically inaccurate at times...but nothing is perfect..once again...amazing movie....in the same category as gladiator

Awsome movie. I was always waiting for a movie about crusaders. I really liked how the directors sticked to the "real" story for once, not like in some historic battle movies i saw. Anyways it was very good. Hope they come up with more.

Very, very good. After being utterly dissappointed with Troy, and worrying that Ridley Scott would portray the Crusader Knights too kindly in an effort to cater to the religious right, the people that made The Passion of The Christ a blockbuster, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. I should have had more faith in Mr. Scott and his directorial skill and vision. Any christians complaining about the protrayal of certain members of the crusade have not studied the era or read anything on it, period. Good movie, I`d give it 4-4.5 stars
