I LOVED THE MOVIE... it was sooo funny

I haven`t seen it yet, but I wanted to check to see what everyone else thought. I loved the comment from the woman, telling us that her 3 year old wanted to go home from the start of the movie. Like we`re supposed to take the opinion of a 3 year old kid. Maybe the kid wanted to go home because he`s a kid....and they usually don`t like to sit still!

It didn`t live up to the other ones. Unrealistic and highly dissapointing.

This was our second movie together, after Kicking and Screaming! We enjoyed it very much! The characters we loved the most are the the penguins and the little creature that wails when Alex tries to make friends with him! All the characters were pleasing to the eyes and funny to the mind (Shrek and Fiona were a bit difficult to digest in the beginning!).. I personally loved the friendship between the awesome foursome! I think their friendship itself is a message for the children.. Also the fact that "grass is always greener on the other side" is well said in thge movie.. I think parents might need to leave a word about this after the movie

Even though I chuckled a few times, most of the humour was too silly for adults. The penguins were the best but they only had a few small parts. Overall, not the same quality as the Shreks and The Incredibles.

this movie was not as funny as i thought it would be. props to the king of lemurs!!! his song is SO funny; he was definently the best part. the movie was only good when he was in it. i would recommend renting this. do not waste your money at the theatre!!-S.

it was a cool movie

Hohum, believe it or not, this was boring! I laughed only once. So, to all the mature chics out there, save your money and rent the video. This is definitely a juvenile funny film. This includes grown men.

OMG.... NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT EXCEPT FUNNY LIKE CRAZY!!!!! Great graphics....unique from other typical animated movies.... is a crazy movie with a lot of jokes for all ages... my lil bro who is 10 yrs old was chokin on popcorn cuz he was laughing soo much.... go watch it now and dont wait for the dvd~!!!!!

Was not funny till they got to madagascar and the king lemur came out with his voise "lets go meet the giant pansies." After that it was great with loughts of laughs with kid a nd adult humour!! AWESOME

Had some funny moments, but too much innuendo and violence. It had a badly put together plot and didn`t seem geared to either children or adults. Knowing what I do now, I would never have seen this with or without my kids. My 7 year old liked parts but said it was the worst one compared to the ones she has seen and my 3 year old wanted to go home from the beginning.

Not the best kid movie but entertaining nevertheless. It is lacking a message that kids can relate to.

I really enjoyed this movie. See it for what it is and do not critize and analyze it too much. It`s funny, it`s cute, it`s great, you get the picture. They left the ending open for part 2? I certainly hope so. All the voices were great, especially Chris Rock`s as the zebra.

everyone =P, it was a pretty good movie, if u reelli wanna go see it then go, its not a waste of ur money, its pretty funni at times but in my opinion it wasnt as good i thought it would have been but i still like it but it could have been better, more jokes here and there. This movie is the typical animated movie. There is a catch tho, this movie seems to play like it was made in a very short time becuase of its poor plot structure and very short lengh. The moral in animated stories are usually good and are easy to understand, but the moral in this story does not make sense so children will not be able to relate. There are alot of funny moments for children and adults, but the movie seems to play almost like an animated tv show. The bottom line is that Madagascar is not close to the best animated movie by dreamworks.

this movie was better then it was made out to be in the previews..i`m a kid,(almost 13 years old)but this movie had its fair share of innuendo..little bits of adult humor here and there..very enjoyable for me..the plot line a bit unstructured,but the humor made up for it..a great see for all ages..and to the cast..you rocked!

Very funny! Glad to see plenty of references and jokes for the older crowds. The Lemurs and Penguins were hillarious!!
