Are you kidding me? This is a great movie from start to finish. Mara Wilson as Matilda is great, so are her awful parents Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman. It’s scary at times (Trunchbull!), yes, but no more than the villain in your average fairytale, along with stories of friendship and trust (and some magic), and an overall positive ending.
