Disturbing and disappointing. The preview misleads you to think this is a going to be a boxing movie. In reality it is nothing more than a promotion for euthanasia.

Excellent movie. Heartbreaking as well. Possess all vital elements for a classic flim. Go see it!

Phenominal performances by Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman, but especially Hilary Swank. What a fantastic movie. "And the Oscar goes to...".. If you catch my drift.

In no way did I expect where this film was going and that felt like someone knocked me out. Expecially loved Morgan Freeman, just so good, cool and collected. All around a good story and strong characters. And I give it extra points for not going where all underdog sports movies go. Dare to be different. It works. And to Universal who wasn`t seeing Clint`s vision of a good story, shame on you. Haven`t the studios learned - many movie goers want good STORIES!!

WOw, what an amazing movie. Hillary Swank is fab. But Clint Eastwood should stick to directing.

M$B is an epitomy of life, finely portrayed in the world of boxing

aesome movie.... but the ending was sad!

Perfect. This movie is absolutely perfect. Clint Eastwood once again directs a fantastic film (and scores it). The acting and story are powerful also. All and all, it`s a great film.

Movie maybe a bit long, but kept me interested throughout. Easily 4 plus stars. Great performance from Clint, Hillary and Morgan.

Two weeks after seeing Million Dollar Baby I`m still in shock. Hillary Swank`s performance is proof that Boys Don`t Cry was not a fluke. She is superb. Eastwood and Freeman are a little like caricatures at times but Swank more than makes up for it. She is best actress of the year by far and will probably be responsible for the movie winning best picture too. PS...this is much more than a boxing movie.

WAY GREAT!! this movie is the greatest movie I have seen this year (yeah, I know its only february but still) oscar calibur performances all around...whew...I am still in awe of this movies greatness. Definitely worth the money...10 times over

Plain waste of time and money.

It was AWESOME. The people who gave it 1 star was simply because the couldn`t take the very REAL ending...if you can handle anything other than the airy fairy Hollywood crap we are fed all the time...you will LOVE this MOVIE!! Hilary and Clint are OSCAR WINNERS!!!!!!!

A good movie, but I`m not sure of Oscar, Best Picture caliber. In Oscar quality movies I`m usually so envolved in the show it`s over before I know it: in this movie I found myself occasionally looking at my watch. Hilary Swank is incredible; Clint Eastwood is OK but a few times I thought his acting was just that, acting. 3&1/2 to 4 stars

wonderful movie, great acting & great story

Hilary Swank does not deserve the Oscar, it should go to Natalie Portman. But Hilary was still very good in this.

This movie has Clint Eastwood at the top of his craft. Using boxing to illustrate the good the bad and the Ugly in people. The boxing scenes are top notch and are better than any I have seen in other pictures of the same genre. The caracters are developed and beliveable, painstakingly so. The ending is not sugar coated its real and the triumphs are crystal clear and not fairy tail.

A brilliant story. This movie packs a powerful punch, all the way until the final round. Eastwood takes the audience seamlessly through this emotional tale. He is sure to be recognized for his superb direction.

For something I thought would just be a fight film, it was a whole lot more. A moving story with outstanding characters.

I can`t think of another actress who could have pulled this one off. Swank is nothing short of phenomenal. The last quarter of the movie could have dissolved into sappy melodrama, but Swank lifts it up to the heights of a classic. She deserved the Oscar for "Boys Don`t Cry" and by George she deserves it again. Amazing!

Million Dollar Hit...the most moving performances I have ever seen collaberated together in one movie. Best actor, Best Supporting actor, and of course an unpresidented performance of the leading actress, Hilary Swank. Never, have I ever been more moved by a performance than what I saw in Hilary Swank. A SURE win for the oscar. Clint just out does himself every new movie he brings to life. Clint should also win for Best director. He always brings the best out of an actor. Truely an amazing film.

very disappointed in this movie. Pretty good acting by Swank, can`t believe Eastwood is getting so much praise for his acting or directing. I feel cheated by the "twist"
