I found the story line thought provoking and the impact was played out extremely well. I have not read the book so I had nothing to compare with. I would recommend it to all. RP - Montrael Canada

if you read the book you will be extremely disappointed. Totally different ending which ruined the entire movie for me. I was in shock that it was so different. Why did Jody picoult let them do this to her beautiful story.

Good intentions are reputed to be the road to a pretty bad place. This film is filled with them. Too bad it's so ham-fisted in its approach. At least the ending of the film makes more sense than the ending of the book [which totally undercut the message].

I was very disappointed that the movie differed so drastically from the book. the reason i enjoyed the book so much was mainly due to the ending; the surprising turn of events that makes the story interesting. the movie was well casted (for the most part) and well acted (other than alec baldwin who i did not feel accurately portrayed campbell) however i strongly reccomend reading the book first. actually, if it were up to me you would not be allowed to see this movie until you have read the book as the movie destroys an amazing and well thought out novel.

Reading other peoples reviews of this movie you can tell who has read the book and who hasn't. Those that have read it, hated it and those who haven't read it, loved it. I recommend everyone read the book because it is 100 times better. Seriously, who was the idiot who decided to change the ending.

If you have read this book you will be very disappointed. I thought the movie was terrible because it ruined the whole point of the book. I thought it was a great movie and was really enoying it until they ruined the ending. I was extremely disappointed.

havent read the book but i gotta say this movie was amazing... i recommend making ungrateful children or siblings watch this, help em appreciate life more.

Thursday, July 2, 08:56:50 AM

I was very disapointed with the ending, the best part of the book was the final climas, to have that removed completely made the show utterly disapointed.

Fabulous movie. I would completely recommeded this.

Great acting and fascinating plot in this family drama about a couple with a child with cancer and kidney failure. They decide to have a second child as a means of acquiring a suitable kidney for a transplant for their ill daughter, saving one child's life while compromising the other. There is a legal battle which enfolds when the "designer baby" decides she does not want to be used for "spare parts" for her biological sister. Cameron Diaz plays the the single-minded and misguided mother very convincingly. Abigail Breslin's protrayal of the youngest daughter is both strong and insightful.

I have never been so disappointed in an interpretation of a book... In fact it wasn't the same story.. I counted down to see this movie and I left the theater wanting my money back.

Wednesday, July 1, 02:41:33 AM

if I could I would give it a zero. Worst movie based on a book ever. Who ever casted this movie, obviously never read the book. Cameron Diaz as the mother??? And Alec Baldwin as the lawyer, another mystery. Only characters that where bang on where the sisters. Do not see this movie, read the book, AMAZING!!

Wednesday, July 1, 12:43:24 AM

I was half way through the book when I saw the movie and was very disappointed of how different it was from the book. The producers, the actors didn't do the book justice. The acting wasn't great in my opinion with the exception of Brian, Kate and Taylor. The point and the ending in the book are completely different than the movie, making it a huge disappointment. Wow, whoever didn’t read the book, please do and you’ll see how great it is.

a sloppy, thrown together bland movie

Monday, June 29, 03:06:31 AM

SO moving! SOOOO heart wrenching, but a MUST see. It made me really think about how easily it can be to take things for granted and how precious life really is. Cameron Diaz along with all the other actors are absolutely fantastic!!

Sunday, June 28, 08:07:49 PM

Stunning. Amazing acting, well written and very true to the book. It wasn't glamourized in any way. Beautiful movie.

Saturday, June 27, 10:35:07 AM

It was a pretty good movie... but if you read the book the ending is totally different.. the ending was what made the book so great. I wished they had stuck with that.

Saturday, June 27, 12:08:19 AM

I had to leave half way, it was too depressing. Great acting and great story, however rent it at home so you can cry to your heart's content

Friday, June 26, 10:52:24 PM

Not too bad acting, but the ending?? If you read the book you would know what I mean. Horrible, they butchered the book. So disappointing

Friday, June 26, 10:38:33 PM

I really loved this movie, i couldn't stop crying, this is the only movie that moved me this way. As i do hate crying in public. I read the book before i even knew it was going to be a movie and the ending was a bit disappointing cause it didn't stick the book. But overall it was an original story, and Jodi Picoult is a great author.

Friday, June 26, 05:12:47 PM

WORST MOVIE EVER

Friday, June 26, 02:54:09 PM

My Sisters Keeper has many ups and downs throughout the story, but all in all, its the true story of a cancer patients life, and how 1 little girl can make a difference.

Friday, June 26, 08:52:55 AM

it was the best

Thursday, June 25, 11:38:20 PM
