Amazing movie! I liked the book, and the film added so many new easter eggs and cameos, making it even more interesting to watch again.

Wondering why Ohio. What an interesting concept. A big video game playground for everyone.

I've watched one other movie in Dbox and found it distracting. This was the perfect Dbox movie! My friend and I had so much fun. The movie is incredibly simple in terms of plot, incredibly predictable and that's the point. It just gave you what you wanted while being entertaining and visually spectacular.

The best nap $53.98 can buy! Clearly this awful mess is not aimed at my demographic but seriously? Wy wife and I had to walk out after 30 minutes because we just could not stay awake. Don't believe the previews and articles that talk about how all the 70's and 80's pop culture references make it interesting to a diverse audience. They don't. You just wonder what's the point? Which is my question for the whole movie. What's the point? The mindless dialogue between the two main characters as they zoom around the confusing CGI universe just gave us headaches. You owe us, Spielberg. Or maybe it's just me!

I walk out of most movies but not this one! Ranger

Sunday, April 1, 06:35:15 PM

I liked the movie but no so much the 3D part. I could not get tickets to the regular format so I ended watching this movie in 3D. The movie had some serious scenes that makes you wonder. Steven Speilger always do those kind of things in his movies.

Sunday, April 1, 06:19:09 PM

I had a fantastic experience watching this movie. The disco part was funny with The Back of the Future music in the background.

Sunday, April 1, 05:47:50 PM

. . Player One had many Spielberg throw backs to the 80s and 70s which was lots of fun for me. I lol many times. While the characters took the movie seriously, the movie wasn't so serious - this also made the movie fun. Perhaps the only message was for serious gamers - yet, I simply enjoyed the night out at the movies. It's fun, not too too serious, and Spielberg doing what he does well - entertain.

Wow!! Best movie I have seen in a while!! This movie is made for the 50-60 yr old, so many references to pop culture we grew up with, Well done Steven!!

Saturday, March 31, 09:22:59 AM

Movie is well written and good message to everyone

Saturday, March 31, 01:23:47 AM

Current focus on online life and corporate control was interesting.

Friday, March 30, 09:36:32 PM

Awesome....great message for the world

Thursday, March 29, 06:02:49 PM

A new classic from Steven Spielberg. I liked how he gives ideas of what will if?....... This one was the perfect of example of virtual reality.

Thursday, March 29, 05:01:51 PM

He is like a child in man’s body. I liked the way he writes his stories. Him and John Williams wow. Awesome.

Thursday, March 29, 04:59:17 PM

The master piece man for the wonders. Glad to see him back again to do a science fiction movie. Virtual reality style movie. Yes that is him. E.T was one of the best ones too. No telling the end because I am reviewing the movie in here. Is not fair to spoiled any movies. Just go and judge by yourself.

Thursday, March 29, 04:53:15 PM

Fantastic movie, I grew up with his movies and he inspired me to go to the film industry. His movies are little child style? No exactly. A.I was one of the best ones. Sad movie and made cry. His movies are very elaborate and magic.

Thursday, March 29, 02:40:31 PM

Opening night and the theater was only 1/3 full. Incredibly weak movie. Some good CGI but not enough to cover the weakness of the entire script. Spielberg should retire.

Thursday, March 29, 02:38:32 PM

Upon reflection, the thing I noticed is that Spielberg never grew up. the story line is cliche, and the ending is trite, and it's the special effects people that made him famous. When you look at a director like Clint Eastwood, his movies grew more refined and more nuanced with every generation. The man rolls out classic after classic while Spielberg keeps giving you the Goonies. If you want to live in the movie theaters of 40 years ago, try Spielberg again. The movie is not very good.

Thursday, March 29, 02:37:08 PM

Great Spielberg film! Not too many out there creating movies with the imagination he uses.......

Thursday, March 29, 11:22:49 AM

The opening was great. CGI was what I expected. This is a Steven Speilger movie and his movies have always twist and teaching lessons. We enjoyed this movie from the begining to the end.

Thursday, March 29, 01:53:02 AM

Went to see it opening night. It was pretty good. The cgi and animated characters were better developed and more interesting than the real life counterpart. I think it's worth seeing. The lowest point is the ending which is as cliche as it could ever get.

Wednesday, March 28, 07:14:10 PM

Finally!!!!!

Thursday, March 22, 02:44:18 PM

Finally this movie is coming out. 😊

Wednesday, March 21, 10:55:20 PM

His movies are super fantastic.

Wednesday, March 21, 02:25:21 PM

Spielberg's best since TINTIN. 5/5

Wednesday, March 21, 01:52:14 PM

This movie have a lot imagination. Steven Spielberg always bringing the best movies to the big screen.

Wednesday, March 21, 01:45:38 PM

The first time I saw a movie from Steven was Encounter of the Third grade. wow. I loved all of his movies. He is always some how controversial and creative director. I don't know if John Williams worked on the Soundtrack of this movie.

Friday, March 16, 01:36:40 PM

Weak directing and spacious story. No need to bother.

Friday, March 9, 01:32:02 PM

You’ve done it again Spielberg. You’ve done it again. Great movie

Friday, March 9, 01:31:14 PM

I’d rate this movie 5/5 This is just such a great movie with so many good characters and I just can’t wait. This is what pure imagination looks like

Sunday, October 22, 03:00:20 PM

Tuesday, August 15, 10:35:56 PM

ummmm I really like Steven Spielberg as I luv his past films but this one look like a big video game as it looks like the same old sick future he did with Minority Report and A.I. Artificial Intelligence, unless I see other trailer I don't know if I would look forward seeing it as I didn't go see bfg I would say he need to slow down and take a breather as the saying goes less is more and make something that would be a pleasant surprise like doing the stars wars 9

Friday, August 4, 11:26:59 AM
