Kate Blanchett was in peak form. The story kept you into the movie. Not a bad version of Robin Hood.
I found the chemistry lacking between the two main characters. They are pretending to be husband and wife and yet there doesn't seem to be any sparks. The acting was good, but in the end it was the lack of chemistry that I remembered.
Good version of the Robin Hood story. I enjoyed Alan Doyle in his role of the minstrel.
Excellent script, acting, and non stop action!!Thank God no Green cheesey Tights!!
hard to understand the speaking at times.
it was okay, expected a little more out of it..we will see what the next ones like
It wasnt just a remake but had new favour
I enjoyed this version of Robin Hood.
Great movie.
Interesting take of Robinhood.
Not a bad movie but the name is misleading... we expected a story about Robin Hood, not the story of how he came to be.
Mostly enjoyed the movie but found the story line confusing at times. Maid Marion character was overdone.
A good epic film with a refreshing twist. Nice to see a new take on an old story, great acting and cinematography.
this is typical Crowe/Scott fair, thought Gladiator was better, but i recommend this movie to anyone, worth the price of admission..
Good back story to the reason he became "Robin Hood". Really enjoyed it!!
Good movie except for the landing barges.
Didn't want to see it because I love the Kevin Costner version but this one is about YOUNG Robin Hood. It is very good!
A good epic film with a refreshing twist. Nice to see a new take on an old story, great acting and cinematography.
Loved it!
While I did enjoy the historical persepectives & the terrific fight scenes I failed to see the undying attraction between the two stars! However, the movie is worth seeing & I probably will go again!
I enjoyed this version of the Robin Hood story. The cinematography was beautiful and Russell did a pretty good job. I enjoyed seeing Alan Doyle in the part of the minstrel.
It started off a bit slow, but overall it was well worth watching!
It was boring to watch
Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett work well together.
Gladiator with a bow and arrow. A rather uninspired effort, with Russell donning a rather odd accent and with an obvious attempt at the end at setting up a franchise. The battles are kind of boring, and for a guy that is supposed to be an archer, you only see Robin shoot an arrow a total of about 3 times. Unimpressed.
It was a pretty good movienot what i had expected but it was entertaining.
I love the battle scenes! Historical movies rock!!!
Very well done re-telling of the Robin Hood story. Lot's of action and good chemistry between the actors. Highly recommended.
All I could think about throughout the whole movie was "Is this Gladiator 2.0?". I guess it looks and feels like Gladiator b/c Russel Crowe's in it and directed by the same director. Gladiator was an awesome movie but I was hoping to see a Robin Hood movie.
entertaining to say the least!
Not a bad revisit to ye ol sherwood forrest
My Husband and I loved it! Russel was fantastic in it...
this movie is really good, i saw the prince of persia as well and this is as good as that movie. they're both my favorite movie for 2010
Great movie!
I enjoyed more Iron Men II
Infinitely better than the Kevin Costner version and it should not be compated with the Errol Flynn version as they are two completely different genres.
I liked this movie, more than I expected. It's similar to Gladiator in terms of actionand thrills. The spin they put on the Robin Hood story worked. It's surprisingly a lot funnier than I imagined.
Wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, but with Russell Crowe in it, has to be good. He was excellent!!! Really loved the movie and can't wait for the sequal to come.
Cant wait for the sequals.
Seen it twice, cant wait for the sequals. Great work by everyone concerned.Lots of extras on the dvd please.
