sharkwater captivates everyone that watches it, even those who claim to "not care about shark finning" . . . its an amazing documentary. must see.

This man and this film have woken nations and peoples who previously knew nothing of the plight of the worlds oceans. To say that he is inspiration is not doing him justice. This film has redefined a world that is so misunderstood and a population that is in deep trouble. I show it to everyone I can and recommend it to everyone. One of the finest documentaries that I have ever had the joy of seeing.

En français, puisque ça m'est plus facile! Très beau film qui m'a fait réévaluer mes idée sur la grosse bêbête des mers qui me faisait peur depuis que j'ai 7 ans- et à cause de spielberg-. Il y en a qui regarde sous leur lit pour vérifier si il n'y a pas de monstre, moi, je regardait DANS mon lit pour voir si il n'y avait pas de requin mangeur de pieds! Je ne dis pas que la peur panique en mer est terminée, mais je ne les considère plus de la même manière. Certaines images sont très choquantes...Honte à certains! En un mot: Film très instructif, dont je ne me lasse pas de revoir des passages...Le jour où j'ai décidé de le voir, j'airai voulu que la terre entière en profite. Rob Stewart

Finally stopped eating seafood after watching this. One of the best documentaries I've seen so far.

I had heard about this film and forgot about it but then I finally got a chance to see it again and was blown away. I then got my kids to watch it too so they grow up aware at the devastation being done to a very critical piece of the oceans ecosystem.

They need to make versions in Spanish and Chinese as well.

I love this movie. I am very knowledgable about sharks but even if i was not this movie would still of captivated me. The story, the vivid picture, and its amazing soundtrack makes this movie an easy watch.
