back home in the Comores Islands, the Chineese and Japaneese are feeding our ministers with 4X4 Toyota and we all know why ,but today by watching this film you open my eyes man , and how or whene but somethin will be done soon or latter Nazir FRANCE
This film is a real eye-opener in what goes on behind environmental law, that is, legislation and enforcement can be two different things. Thank you for making this movie! The photography is beautiful and so, of course, are the sharks!
I was really touched by the movie. Thank you so much for making me aware of what\ s going on...I had no idea about this issue. I recommand this movie to everyone! Please spread the word. Once again a huge thank you and congratulations on filming such a wonderful movie. Robin S.
I loved sharkwater -- beautifully shot and exciting to watch. Nice one Rob
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT MOVIE! Looking forward to see it in the german cinemas soon!
To Rod and the Entire team… well done! It took courage and you are making a difference! This is one of the - real issues - we as a global society need to deal with; otherwise the issue is going to deal with us. And if we sit on the sidelines and wait for the issue to deal with us, it will be to late. The time is now, not tomorrow. Keep it up! It’s Time Solutions
This is an outrage! If dolphins were finned in this manner, there would be a public outcry! It is all because of image and reputation that nobody has defended the sharks until now - and this reputation is largely incorrect. There should be Greenpeace movement or something of the sort in this case! Although Britain is a contributor, Asia is certainly the primary offender. I hope that the next asteroid headed to Earth hits China head on! I will recant this statement if they change their ways; until then, the sentiment stands!
Rob - No amount of praise would do you or your project proper justice. You are truly a Godsend in every sense of the word - just what we and the sharks truly needed! Had you not put forth the effort, bravery, and unavoidable risks in making this documentary, it\ s possible that nobody would have; and the atrocity would continue to be ignored or swept under the rug. You have implemented the benchmark for true change. THANK GOD FOR YOU & GOD BLESS YOU!
The individuals in this film are true heros. This really was an eye opener and I am shocked at what goes on in the world s oceans. I hope this film will establish a new beginning for sharks and give them back the oceans that belong to them.
I went to see the film today in Ales (France). Je suis sorti de la scéance les yeux grands ouverts. Un trés beau film qui laisse à réfléchir et nous ouvre les yeux. Wonderfull
I will tell all of my friends just amazing Thanks you Rob Thanks agian and keep fighting. I would like to no how i could get a dvd
Changed the way I view sharks and the ocean, truly touched me, this is a must see documentary!
wonderful movie! thanks Rob for this opened eyes movie. I hope it will come out soon in the theater in France...so people can see what money and fear can do... thanks again and keep fighting...
This movie was amazing. It is the only documentry that I actually want to see again. I came to Tribute.ca only to find out if it was coming back to theatres like it is in the United States. Im glad to know it is being released on dvd and video so i can show my family and friends this movie.
A dream come true. Thanks for this movie. They\ re so beautiful...
Rob, you are an amazing person! I have been doing nothing but writing emails to people practically begging to stop the killing of sharks, and other animals. This movie was outstanding. It really makes you think about what goes on in the world around us, and just because you ignore it doesn\ t means it\ s going to go away, and it doesn\ t mean dedicated people like yourself are either, and I thank god for that.
dear sharkwater This movie is wonderful a real eye opener for those who hate sharks. Please put this movie on dvd so I can show my family what they reallly are. I have loved sharks for over seven years. It really made me cry. I wasn\ t happy there were only one other family beside us.
i am upset cant see this film anywhere in the uk anymore
let those people who hunt sharke be cursed to life long misary
This film should be made compulsary viewing in schools. Children are our future, and if we do not educate them, then it\ ll be a future without sharks. Sure the images are disturbing and gruesome, but that is the nature of shark finning, and people\ s eyes need opening to what is happening. Possibly one of the most disturning things was the emptimess of the cinema at the viewing I attended. Only ten people made up the whole audience, and six of those were myself and my friends. Compelling viewing.
Please make this movie more available (theater or DVD). I have not been able to see it and would greatly like to...
this is the most powerful movie i have ever seen! rob you are exactly what these sharks need. A hero!
I haven\ t seen the movie but I would love to see it! I live in Hong Kong and shark fin soup is so popular here... Some restaurants banned it but there are many more who still serve the dish...It\ s really sad and I do hope this will change soon!
A group of us went to see this film last night and we all came out speechless. It is the most amazing film I have ever seen, i have never been so affected by a film, nor has a film ever compelled me to get out there and do something to help like this film did. I am in total awe of what Rob has achieved with Sharkwater, and I can\ t wait to start helping in any way I can to save these beautiful creatures. The film left us all feeling inspired, overwhelmed, desperately sad, but hopeful that this is the beginning of an amazing crusade to save the sharks.
I went to see the film today in London, it\ s unbelievable. People need to know what\ s happening.
I saw the film last night and was very moved by it. There were so many valid and strong points made; I haven\ t found myself feeling so angry and sad for some time. What also saddened me was the emptiness of the cinema (a poignant reminder about the lack of support sharks receive). I hope this changes soon.
Finaly people who actually realize what is happening to sharks
Finally we received the film in the UK. I have been waiting impatiently for weeks. Thank you so much for raising awareness of this cruelty and evil. Will it be showing in China?
Very Nice! Thanks!
growing up in del mar calif my whole life has made me the biggest ocean lover around, sharks being my favorite. I was so happy to bring my friends and family to this movie to share the love! i will make it m goal to get everyone to see it and increase awareness of shark finning.
Where can I rent the movie Sharkwater because I don\ t found it anywhere . . . I live in Quebec city, in Canada. Please answer me because I really want to see it. Thank you
We went to see this on a whim in Anchorage, Alaska on Feb 16th and were amazed. My wife and I have ALWAYS been supporters of the seas and the ocean life they hold. We have always known sharks were being destroyed needlessly but had no idea it was this bad. We have already suggested to our friends they see this movie. It was a real eye opener when my wife and I thought our eyes were already open...Excellent work.
I\ m so pissed I found out about this movie on the last day it was showing near me in November and it was two and a half hours away! I\ ve been a shark freak for a year and a half and this film comming out has inspired me further to do something about sharks.
I was lucky enough to attend the premiere in London on Tuesday last. It opened to some truly shocking practices and exploded many a myth about sharks. Congratulations to you Rob and to all your colleagues. I would urge EVERYONE to go and see this movie and I will certainly be encouraging all of my friends to do so.
This was the most beautifully shot piece of cinematography I\ ve ever had the fortune to watch. Even so, this beauty was nothing compared to the utterly tragic and desperately moving discoveries the film documented. Rob Stewart cannot be thanked and praised enough for this film and it marks the beginning of something crucial. This must be stopped and this film is what\ s needed to educate and amaze people. I cannot wait to watch it again and encourage everyone I know to watch it. It literally changes you.
I love Sharkwater. I probably saw this movie four or five times while it was in theatre. I\ ve always loved sharks and this movie inspired me to go and learn to scubadive. I hope it comes out on DVD. That would be amazing.
It all starts with awareness! Rob, you are living out your God given purpose! Anyone reading this, what is inside of you? It takes heart and action to make things change. While watching the movie, I knew that I could not leave the theater and not take part in this crusade. The movie was powerful as it portrayed real life events, things that really matter. I am fomatting a letter for the Secretary General of the United Nations. Thanks for the information on where to start!
I saw Shark Water for the first time at the Ft Lauderdale Film Festival. I was completely moved by it. I was fortunate enough to have seen it a 2nd time at the IGFA Hall of Fame in Dania Beach, FL. I cried both times I saw it. It makes me so happy that there are people in the world like Rob and Paul from the Sea Shepherd. We need more of these kinds of heros...
I love the movie i wish it could come on dvd. i loved the movie cause it send me a message to understand sharks. i want the movie to come out again! i liked the way the crew set things up espesially Rob Stewart.
I loved this movie so much. wanting to be a marie biologist i love learning about the ocean and what is going on in it. When i was watching this in theatres i was crying, it was the saddest thing i have ever seen.
