this, movie was breathtaking the lovestory between the couple was so beautiful and it was not cheesy or goey like a million of the other movies. It was tottaly inspiring this movie was so moving it brought tears in my eyes not really but it was very good.

I fell in love with the kind of love story this moved brought to us. it made me tremble with such admiration... the notebook used to bring. AMAZING a must see!!! it had me laughing until i was crying, and crying until i was soo deeply in love with the plot i was mesmerized. BREATHTAKINGLY AMAZING... definatley a oscar gold... xx <3

The reason Jamal was on the show because he knew "she", Latika would be watching it (This is for the person who wrote the synopsis of the movie on the imdb website. Yes, the movie had no special effects, it was all real, refreshing, raw and riveting!

Slumdog millionaire-the anachronism- So they celebrated in the slums how the world has watched by millions the slum life in India-The story for which some Politicians would never want to take any credit? Who will really want how those dweller would have gone to the toilet in the morning? Whats with the elitiists world, they award so much for portraying India in this manner? What of all the things they say about Bomboay? There is a lot of scope for film makers. Go ahead make some more films and show the world what poverty really means/ an afront to all that advancement?

Just awesome

This film won all those Oscars because once in a while, Hollywood actually celebrates the best film of the year. Sadly, for every 'Slumdog Millionaire', there seems to be about a thousand 'Pink Panther 2s'. Movies that titilate, or provoke, or evoke, or (gasp), make us actually THINK, are not our enemies. Obviously many moviegoers could use a little enlightenment, if only they knew what to do with it...

Oscar is screwed up this year! How did this film become the top winner of Oscar for 2008 is totally BEYOND me! Not to offend anyone that like this film, but this movie DOES NOT deserve all those Oscar awards! Sometimes I just really don't know how they come up with the Oscar reviews, definitely not cool at all!

It's a feel-good, one-of-a-kind film that has it all: drama, despair, romance, crime, betrayal and big bucks. the scenery is gorgeous, the stars are deeply talented, the direction is perfect.

It was "okay"...too much hype. I liked the acting from the kids...they were great!! The children should be getting the awards.

This was a wonderful movie that had lots of twists and turns. Great acting and gave a great insight into life in India along with a wonderful romance.
