Amazing Movie. Engaging Characters. Story well told. I did not know much about this, and was really caught up in the story about the kids as they grow up. Creative the way the story is told. Wait til the oscars.

By far, the best movie we have seen in years! Not the typical stuff that comes from Hollywood - same story, different day. Slumdog was so moving, brilliant cinematography. The young actors in this movie deserved to be nominated for best actor/actress. Highly recommend everyone to watch this movie.

Didn't know much about this movie before I went to see it, but so worth it! Amazing story, cinematography, acting...it definitely deserves to win best picture! And you don't leave the theatre feeling depressed, which is nice for a change :)

If you've been to India, this movie makes even more sense as you realize what it truly was like for this boy growing up. EXCELLENT film, there it was nominated for 10 Oscars.

absolutely fantastic! A very very powerful movie. I didnt let up or get dull from start to finish. Even when it was over, everyone in the theater remained seated through the entire credits. A great night out at the movies. No disappointment here!

This movie can help you to measure few things: What capacity do you have as a human? How connected are you with your own emotion? I can not believe we still have some Nazi in Canada who would call this film garbage...

There are very few films that stay with you long after, and even change your life. This is one of them. If you're sitting around feeling sorry for yourself, and belly-aching over your lot in life, go see this. The music is haunting and absolutely perfect. I will never forget this movie.

"Watch out Hollywood here comes bollywood" i disagree with that comment. im not saying this movie is bad, its a really good movie, im just saying that bollywood isnt going to take over hollywood, they cant even come up with their own ideas, they're always taking the storylines from hollywood. anyways, this movie was a great movie, a must see, it deserved its award.

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long while. It was exhilarating, frightening, entrancing, and witty. The amount of situational irony the movie really surprised me. It was wonderful and thouroughly deserved its award. I strongly recommend all to watch it.

I can understand the simple minded finding it hard to grasp the points being made in this show. If you can take yourself outside of hollywoods mainstream garbage where one show could be every show you will definitely enjoy this. A spark of something different finally busts its ways into the big picture...every oscar nod is well deserved.

PEOPLE whoa re hating on the movie jus need to learn to appreciate good cinema and no its not a foreign jus because its based in another country doesnt mean its foreign and as for the dark knight jus cuz it made so much doesnt mean it deserves best picture in that case we would have spiderman and all these stupid movies recieving nominations
