um i was grrreat!! i love the dancing.

Very energetic - great dancing - had a good and ultimately upbeat plot. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Step Up is right up there with Dirty Dancing and Save the Last Dance as one of the best dance films, in which all three are not JUST about dancing, but about real people who want to make their dreams come true and who eventually find each other. The music in this film just makes you want to get up and dance. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have great chemistry and ignite the screen. I like both of Channing Tatums films, She`s The Man and Step Up and I can`t wait to see what he does next.

Head bopping, feet twitching, shoulders trying to match Tyler`s - good thing there wasn`t a camera on me! (I`m over 50!) Sure, it was Save the Last Dance meets Fame, but beat both hands down. Predictable loses 1 star. 4*** for this one.

The Choreography was a step up from amazing. Not to mention the excellent selection of music for the soundtrack. Channing Tatum and Jena Dewan does this movie justice. Even though this movie had a stable story, the story could have used some `beefing` up. Nonetheless, this was a all over excellent movie.
