Great show…loved the cast until the gay characters showed up…cringy acting!

Great show. Good character development and like the rest of the world there are gay people so just get over it.

The acting, the story, the scenery. How refreshing to watch something so genuine and touching.

Really enjoyed. Slightly obsessed with Chad Michael Murray 🔥 This show really gripped me. Sometimes some of the actors weren’t totally amazing but the overall I loved the story, the characters, the SCENERY, the music!

This series is so real to life. Love all the actors. good to see Tom Jackson again. Hope there is another season. Too much was left in the air. Nothing seems finished the way it ended. Who cares if there was a gay relationship. That's the way life is today & I agree with this. Great show!!

Agree with previous poster, the gay relationship is really cringy. There's something kind of creepy about both actors who play the gay guys. The only thing worth watching this for is Chad Michael Murray. He's a really good actor. The plot is miserable, nothing good ever happens to anyone on this show. Every episode leaves them as unhappy as they were at the start of the first episode.

This was a good family show originally but like so many other shows it the writers had to bring in gay relationships. We will not be watching this show anymore, too bad it was a show the family could watch.

I everything about this show! The characters, where it’s filmed ( such a beautiful place)! The acting is exceptional! I love the emotions that the writers and cast brings out in the audience…. I cry, laugh, get angry and then sigh with happiness all while watching one episode! I really hope it’s renewed for many more seasons. Great job CTV and Cast??

A very believable, well-acted series….

If it is really set in Nova Scotia the characters should speak Canadian. Grade 3 not 3rd grade

Love this show ! Its about family, it shows how we are drawn to our family roots. It touches so many different topics that families can relate to.

Production is excellent -sound, photography, music, lighting. Acting is very good. I am surprised it's so good. I just stumbled on to this show and will be watching the next episodes. Love the location.

The acting is ok. I originally thought John Wayne would have said, "True Grit." But as the show progressed, And we see maybe 2-3 different fathers to Maggie, I found myself saying, "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive."

Emotional roller coaster. Ridiculous.
