easily the best marvel flick since x-3.

loved this movie. it lived up to the title and was amazing!

at least martin sheen was good.

almost fell asleep till the end then it got o k hated the actor who played peter aka spiderman al ready told the story as how he became spiderman why do it again if they do another with the same cast won't even watch it on blueray waste of my time and money:(

"the amazing spider-boy" would have been a more apt title...

awesome movie! from beginning to end i love it. i wasn't even interested in seeing it but my friend wanted to go. it was worth every penny, best movie by far for 2012! i loved this movie...emma stone is in it - great acting, suspense, action and more! a must see! don't delay!

i can forgive a crappy storyline, but boring action sequences in this day and age are unforgivable. the amazing spider-man is shockingly boring.

sony has pulled spidey from theatres, will re-release the movie next week under the new title "the amazingly dull spider-man".

i'm afraid this rates as the "batman & robin" of the spider-man series. the story is laughable, the effects are amateurish, and the villain is a complete dolt. if pressed to say something good about it, well, james horner's music was nice, and of course it's a treat to hear him working with celine again.

this is the spiderman that i always wanted to see on the big screen. great acting by the entire cast.

i give it a solid two stars.

even murray's considerable talents can't save a "twilight" version of spider-man.

should have called it spider-boy since he's still a high school punk in this. most disappointing movie this year.

spider-man felt like spider-man this time around, and and the consequences he had in the suit translated to him being peter. both of the leads (garfield and stone) did a great job at bringing out their characters personalities and had amazing chemistry together. this is a more realistic spider-man than any other version of it making it feel a lot more real. it's also very relate-able to as peter has many problems in his life, as a young person he is having problems dealing with them as he learns more and more about his past while at the same time gaining his powers. this causes the great relationship he once had with his aunt and uncle to be pushed apart a bit, as would any teenager as

no superhero has a bigger cod-piece than bill murray.

the silent spider-man movie from the early 2000's was sooo much better than this slop.

the "special" effects looked they were done by sega genesis and the acting, (apart from murray), was stilted and wooden. simply put, this is the superman iv of the spider-man series.

been a spidey fan for 30yrs and i loved this movie. to me, its closer to the real story as peters 1st love was gwen stacy, he creates his own webbing. open your mind, forget the 1st 3 movies and enjoy this one!
