let me counts the ways to rate thy avengers ok here i go if u like the typical type like super hero movie this is your flick, but if your looking for a christopher nolan bat man type film u might be some what disappointed,it a film that i didn't feel like walking out or line up to get seconds, it was good not great movie with loki chessy horn head outfit , over kill gags ( all though i laugh at some of the corn ball jokes myself iron man was funny ) and way to busy in the action when their fighting the army from out space ( sorry avengers fans specially somebody like me that bought the comics in the past ) christopher nolan gets it right that and the original superman in 1978 as where a lo

it was absolutely spectacular, surpassed any expectations, from the beginning it was just like those amazing fireworks that you think is the finale but it's just warming up to the finale...so incredibly exciting, fun and amazing to watch!! i will probably watch it on the big screen as much as i can until it leaves the theatres..it was that good ;)

what is the avengers but an expensive kebab commercial, a dizzying spectacle of over-cool marvel miscreants hanging around two ancient norse gods with british accents, in post-converted 3d again no less? surely the individual product that was captain america was more enjoyable because of its adult themes of disenchantment, loss and sacrifice, not to mention wartime sex in uniform. anyway, this has been a welcome distraction from the only true movie event of the year - the dark knight rises. this is bat country, folks.

our 7 year old's first "adult" movie - he loved it! lots of fighting - the plot and special effects were great! we left our 4 year old at home (too much fighting).

i thought it was a refreshingly light-hearted movie with very good to excellent, believable character actors. it felt good to see parts that made you smile when you cheered and surprised to hear yourself laugh out loud. apparently others felt the same way in the theatre, because i was not alone. pretty well everyone appeared to be having a good time.
