wosrt movie ever. not sci-fi more like comedy. completely unbelievable.

WONDERFUL! FANTASTIC! I sorta know what it would`ve been like because I`ve hiked Siberia, and parts close the North Pole, though it would`ve still been colder. Almost everything was realistic, and could happen in real life, which is why this movie is the best! So thrilling to see the end, it gave me a new faith in humanity!

Ok, I`ve finally seen it. I think the concept was too big for any specific story. There wasn`t a strong plot and the characters were mediocre to say the least. Jake`s character Sam was the only one I sympathised with - `cause I`m the quite type too - but it seemed like he didn`t even want to be in the movie. And there was no substance with either of his parents until the end with his father (Denis Quaid) who doesn`t seem to face any moral dilemma. And one thing I`m sick of seeing is that homeless black man starving for food and shelter with his faithful companion. Armageddon and I think Independence Day had the same character. What is this ch

WOW!!! I mean WOW!This has got to be one of the best disaster flicks ever, it has just about everything,tornados,hurricans,floods! Altough the story line is out there it is shur to be on my movie collection. acting A+ directing A+ storyline A- visual effects A+

The show is great , the actors acted very well , the story is also interesting , i hope it will be sold as vcd to other people who have not watch this nice show ...

Independence day ... except against storms... with a WORSE storyline at that!!! The entire movie was cheesy .. the ending completely predictable.. and the homage to the US flag was nauseating.... complete hollywood garbage!! Ohh yes the effects were amazing, but that isn`t saying much these days since in a few of years a 15 year old will be able to make a movie better than this on his PC.

The day after tomorrow was the best movie I have ever seen! I give 3 thumbs up! The special effects are amazing! The scary part is is thats what I am going to do when i grow up... Chase storms!

FREAKY! I actually picked all of the nail polish from my finger nails it was that exciting! There were a couple of odd parts, like the liner coming down the street - I didn`t think the street would be wide enough to receive it for one ... and the romance stuff ... YUCK! I wish they would have left that part out ... there`s enough of that garbage in other movies and on TV!

What a waste of 2 hours. I would not recommend this movie to anyone, and it certainly would not be a good rental. Ho hum...

It was soooo cool! One minute it`s a blizzard, the next, there`s a huge tidal wave. I never knew that global warming could be so dangerous. (two thumbs up) Also, Jake was spectacular. After my sister watched it, she put up a lot of posters of him. IT RULES!

I Love this movie! To you who said it was a rip off of independence day, you are very wrong. The movies did have the same director, but Independance day was aliens attacking earth. The Day After Tomorrow was awesome, I loved it. It had a great plot, it was origional, and the acting was awesome. The special effect were amazing as well. I would definitely reccomend seeing this movie!

I dont see how this movie can get bad reviews!I thought it was a thrilling movie. I was thankful to see daylight when the movie was over.Now im worried what if that raelly were to happen. But I love it, one of my favourites.

it was an okay film, worthy of an oscar for special effects but nothing else

pretty good movie, i expected it to be very science fiction(which it wasnt, and i honestly dont like sci-fi movies), but it was very enjoyable. it was definetly not a HIT but it was a good movie, with lots of great action, which is hard to find these days. dennis quaid did a good job.

For all the negative comments, I wonder just how many actually saw the film and how many were written by the same person? Anyway, it was a darn decent film! The special effects come in early in the film and stay all the way through. Usually in this kind of film they all sit around predicting etc and then near the end of the movie the predictions start to happen. Not in this one! As for the fate of the wolves that escaped, pay attention to the details of the storm`s eye. The answer is there. I`d go and see it again and I`ll buy the DVD too!

THIS MOVIE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! i mean wow the graphics and the way its filmed...i mean c`mon now itz AMAZING...n i thought the wolves were pretty cool...this is one movie that is absolutely not boring at all...from start to finish AMAZING...watch it ppl...its really really really good...above 5 stars...awesome

For those of you looking for a good comedy to kick you into the summer, then look know further than this movie. From the stereotypical spin put on the vice president ("Uh...Dr...Hall, while I have no idea what are you talking about, and you have not even mentioned the Kyoto protocol, have you even considered the economic ramifications of Kyoto?"), to the bunk science that is used to try to keep this movie together, it`s a laugh a minute. And it`s a good thing that the comedy is there, because with all the other big budget films, good special effects don`t mean much. The special effects in this movie were excellent! The story however was a real disappointment. I recomend people to see it just for the awesome effects.

I rather watch bowling on TSN for 1hr and a half then watch this crap movie!

GREAT movie!! Effects were awesome and the movie kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Of course it`s mostly predictable since it is a disaster movie but it was really well done. (About the one review the guy talks about everything freezes but the wolves are still alive, the guy is an idiot. The wolves were alive before the actual freeze came. Maybe he is stupid but wolves can survive arctic climates and they were shown BEFORE the main eye of the storm that flash froze everything got to them so that part to whoever wrote that is fine, it wasn`t unrealisitc because I am sure the wolves froze once the eye of the storm got to them)

just think what would happen if we don`t stop global warming? we would 1, get attaked by wolves, 2 ship`s would just somehow find it`s way through a city without crashing untill it comes to the appropriate building like...a library.3rd, the U.S president would die, ok like that`s the only good thing that happens!4th, a father who never spends anytime with his family finally realises that family are all that matters in such a true to life drama.oh and wolves survive?? like where are the polar bears??

This movie was good but predictable. i didn`t like the ending that much though..I thought it was pretty abrupt. I liked the whole idea of the movie kuz it was pretty scary to think of that..not to mention the special effects were good too.

To the person who said about the scene where the parameds come for the wife "o yea and when the wife got saved in the hospital, she`s just stands there and goes.. thank you so much." She is in such a harrowing situation at that point and there`s only a nanochance that somebody will bother about her and the poor kid. But when they come for her, she is overwhelmed with gratitude and relief and those are the only words she can produce in that state. Those are the ripples of emotion that actually grab you, you know? They make movies worth watching.
