great picture. worht seeing twice. The acting was superb and the special effects realistic. It would be a shame if the girl playing Emily Rose doesn`t get an award for her protrayal. She was incredible.

A truly convincing experience. Definitely on top ten for me. If you want to see a "different" movie from Hollywood fairytales, go and see this one.

The Exorcism Of Emily Rose was by far the scariest movie I have seen since Boogeyman and The Grudge. An awesome movie. I`d suggest that any horror fan watch this. It`s worth it. 5 Stars!

Wow! amazing :D although i did have to look away when i knew it would be creepy lol.. but its so creepy to think of how this is TRUE and how that happened to emily... gosh. it must have been so scary. O_O

I think this movie can mean many different things to many different people. It all depends on your level of faith. Very well done

definitely a thinking person`s horror movie.....it was more disturbing/unsettling than shocking which in the long run is actually scarier...if you are expecting Boogeyman or Nightmare On Elm Street, you will be disappointed, but if you value plot and suspense over schlocky special effects and gore, give this a shot....

Scary... a little, but Intense...ALOT!!! This movie is not what it seems from the trailer where most of the time you see the best scenes in the trailer itself, there are far more better & memorable scenes in the movie than that. I liked it alot, much more poingnant than "The Exorcist"...Makes me wanna know more about the real story!

EXCELLENT MOVIE WITH DEPTH!!! 5 STARS!

I thought it was worth four stars. Before I saw it I was expecting it not to be scary because I thought "Big deal. Their Eyes are black and dripping." But it turned out to be better than the commercial. I`m glad it had "breaks", otherwise there would be too much freakiness going on.

Wonderful movie. Very gripping and compelling. They succeeded in making you feel for each character. Although it wasn`t exactly like the real Emily Rose`s story (Analeise Michel), it was fairly close. This movie really makes you think. Catholic or not you will find yourself wondering what would happen if you were Emily. If you are a serious person and enjoy movies where there is a good story line along with complete explanation, then I suggest you see this one. 5 stars.

Real eye-opener. Mezmerizing and factual--it`s scary. The movie kept both of us glued to our seats. Certain parts of the movie were so good that my girlfriend kept her eyes closed. Really though, much better than The Exorcist. And it`s based on a true story. Certainly the number one horror flick for the year. A must see!!!

WOW.I saw this movie last week and i still get freaked out.before this movie.the only movie that scared me this way was a movie with a little girl named reagan.

A great film. I was scared and moved, moved meaning I felt like saying my prayers. When the movie was over everyone walked out in silence, people didn`t know what to say or feel, they just scared.

Not what I expected for a horror movie, this one actually had a story to it. I thought it was entertaining and scary if you believe in that stuff! 4 stars.

Let me clarify this: Those who likes senseless killing, bloodshed, organs been gutted out, etc. then do not watch this movie, I repeat DO NOT for you gonna hugely disappointed! This is one of the few horror movie that is strong and captivating. The story line is actually good and the casts are all good especially Emily Rose. Those who still prefers a dumb movie should watch "A sound of thunder" as the movie is fill with cheesy lines and casts...and most important of all, the idiotic plot otherwise Emily Rose movie would be too complicated for you.

The preformances were wonderful, however I found the content lacking. It left me a non-believer.

when i aroze from that theater, i thought to myself. OH MY GOD. This was definetly quite a scare, but OH MY GOD it tried a little too hard with all the really dumb unneccarsary scares. I mean seriously, even a movie as old as The Exorcist was made way better than how this movie was made. OH MY GOD

It`s not meant to be superscary.......but wow, what a movie. You still think about it the next day!!! If you just want a scare and no storyline, then see The Exorcist

Great movie The aim of this movie is to tell a story, not scare you to death through blood and gore. If this movie scares you, you need to ask yourself why and the movie answers that question for you. Well made, well writtern and Jennifer Carpenter was excellent. She is very convincing.

I must insist that only those who believe in these things should go to see this movie to fully appreciate it. In my opinion, it is one of the best modern horror movie I have seen. A must for those who have any kind of religious background.

Not as scary as THE EXORCIST but it tells a true story about a girl that was possesed buy demons BRILLIANT.

This movie by far is one of the best ones I have seen this year. It is not like any other movies in this genre which only promote blood, violence and/or gory details to surprise the audience, but rather it is tastefully done and gives people food for thought. The dialogue in court and the flashbacks give an excellent background to understand the movie as it unfolds. I would recommend this movie to those who have faith and also those who believe they are atheists and/or agnostic...haha heck that`s everyone.

This movie was a great suspensful thriller. I really loved the cinematography. Knowing that this was a "possibility" scares the hell out of me. hah. Although i do believe that they gave away many of the scary parts in the trailer.. which made it less chilling in the theatres. -John B.

Great movie.It does make one believe that demons and angels exist in this world.This movie promotes the Roman Catholic religion and makes one look inside themselves.

this movie was great. I really liked that it wasnt about SCARING people, but about telling the story. I really liked the courtroom stuff because it gave you a break from the scary stuff....it was REALLY well done

I liked that this was more than an attempt to scare me to death!! It was scary and it had an interesting story - that`s a change - unlike the completely pointless "Dark Water." I am not religious at all but this movie makes you look at a different side of life and if nothing else the possibility that there is "something" out there other than us. A must see!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the few thrilling movies made this year. I enjoyed the story telling of Emily Rose which make you think about the after life as well as the things that are in this life. Great movie to see for all those who love to get a spook or two.
