Why does the commercial look so bad?? How are those effects scary, when all it is, is people`s eyes and mouths being blacked out. Wow. It looks so dumb.

Best Movie!!! It`s scary at first but it really makes you think... One the best and most touching movies I`ve seen this year.

I don`t understand. I thought the movie was boring. yeah, the flashbacks were KIND of scary.. then it would just go back to the courtroom drama which the WHOLE movie was about!! LAME plot. "oh let Emily tell her story". they should have SHOWN her story. HORRIBLE movie. the previews were deceiving. it`s NOT a scary movie.. dont`expect it to be. if you liked "a FEW GOOD MEN" , then this is for you.

Very, very good movie. It made me more interested in my Catholic Religion and if Demons truely exist. I believe the Devil and Demons exist and hopefully in the middle of the night, I don`t smell something burning.

THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER. IT`S SCARY BUT KINDA FUNNY IN SOME PARTS. THIS MOVIE IS SO WORTH YOUR MONEY.IF I RATED THIS MOVIE OUT OF 10 IT WOULD GET A 20. BUT SINCE IT WAS OUT OF 5 I GAVE IT A FIVE. WATCH THIS MOVIE, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is a powerful and captivating film. It grabs your attention from the moment it starts, `till the minute it ends. One of the best films of the year along side The Island, and Batman Begins. Jennifer Carpenter gives a powerhouse performance, other than her previous work such as White Chicks. This film is based on a true story, which makes it even more scary just thinking about how this can happen to anyone. This is a very intense and emotional film.

This movie freaked me out, it was really scary and I feel even more scared after watching it. I don`t have a good sleep, the scenes flashback in memory.

a great film. very exhilarating. it`s not too jumpy but the fact that it`s based on a true story makes it very creepy. TERRIFYING! go watch it, and believe.

The main point of this movie is not just all about making you jump out from your seat. There is a very meaningful idea behind this movie. This movie is definitely a worthy one to see.

I only voted 1 star because there is no spot for no stars. I was verry disipointed in the film because the previews were better that the movie was. So if you want to waste your money go see this movie.... at least the popcorn was good

An excellent movie that disects and shows the experience of an exorcist and the process of an exorcism. I find that this is better than `The Exorcist` in ways where this one is psychological and is not side tracked by special effects. Worth seeing more than once.

Emily Rose is a magnificant story. I hope that no one else gets possessed though. It looks so scary that i think everyone will need to bring extra underwear! Cause I kno I`ll probably need em` LOLOL. Love the film it`s very cool and interesting, this film will probably get people who are atheis believe in somethin`!!

not worth it. not scary at all. i would only say to go see it if it were free, cause people do anything when they don`t have to pay. two of my friends FELL ASLEEP in it. and we were in the VERY FRONT ROW. maybe that will give you a hint.

Amazing. The trailer`s kind of messed up because when I first saw the movie, I didn`t expect it at all. The actress of Emily`s role was brilliant. I don`t know how she do it but she does a hell of a GREAT JOB. ... Can`t believe it`s based on a true story, makes it a lot more interesting.

Jennifer Carpenter is brilliant! I am in awe of her performance. Laura Linney is amazing, as always. I love to watch her. Tom Wilkinson is such a moving soul in movies. Love him. One of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. Thoroughly fascinating. The girl who played emily was AMAZING!! she was sooo good.....and I AM SOO SCARED RIGHT NOW!!! this was sooo scary....it wasn`t like scary blood, but scary in a freaky way....omg if i wake up at 3 im gonna scream

Disturbing to those who have an open mind to the possibility of possession. Just because it hasn`t happened to you or anyone you know, it doesn`t mean it cannot happen to other people. The film truly makes you think of what you never take to be real. I do not follow any one faith and know very little about exorcisms (only that when movies are based on their occurrences, they are frightening).
