Unrealistic movie with dangerous driving, predictable plot

I thought there was a lot of action right from the beginning, Bow Wow did a great job and the storyline was the best of the 3 movies.

Very bad movie, completely pointless waste of time and money. Take some advil with you because you will get a headache.

I enjoyed Tokyo Drift, but not as much as the first two Fast and the Furious movies. It had some great racing scenes in it, and some good conflicts, but it just didn`t have that special something from the first two. The actors were all good, though not believable as teenagers, and some scenes made me yell out at the screen, but this movie is purely for Racing fans only, whearas the previous two were more fun for regular audiences with the undercover police story as well. Still, I give it 3 stars, as a race fan, I did enjoy it more than most would.

I was very surprised on how good it was because I didn`t have too high of expectations for it, but I think that after watching that movie it was way better then the last two. It`s an intense show and I would recommend everyone to go and watch it!!!

Good God people! How can anyone say that it was better than the 1st one?!?! I don`t get it!! Just saw part 2 last week, and part 3 this tonight. Must say that that I didn`t expect they could make a worse movie than part 2, but they were more than successful in proving me wrong with Tokyo Drift. What senseless garbage! If you`re reading each of these comments, good for you, because it`ll season you to go into the movie expecting only what it is. As long as you understand what the Fast And The Furious franchise has been about all along, and if you like the occasional brainless quick-thrill, you`ll probably like it. Even more so if you`re a fan of the previous two movies. The entire movie thoroughly entertained me. From beginning to end. It was funny to see "big-brother-Brad-from-Home-Improvement" try his hand at the silver-screen. He STILL looks like a putz but luckily, it fit his role perfectly. *4 STARS*

best movie ever

The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift has by far much better driving and action than its predessors. However, the plot is lackluster and Lucas Black`s southern twang is hard to get over not matter how hard you try. The movie while slow at times is worth the watch and gets quite exciting.

I liked Waiting better.

The cars and effects kept the movie going. There was a lack of a plot and the acting was less than mediocore.

I`m a fan of exotic cars and modified cars, and this movie had lots of splashy colour, fashion, style, and bling to make it exciting and fast-paced. I`d definitely see it again.

better than the last one

This was a great movie, I was really impressed, usually the 3rd of any movie is a flop but this one I was impressed by, I just think that it was stupid for the commercials to show Vin Deisel and have so much hype about him considering he was only in the movie for like 5 minutes. Besides that I loved it.

Great movie - lots of action

Starring the awesome acting of woof woof or whatever his name is, the opening sequence has some chick setting womens rights back a 100 years, then the ride in the movie goes straight, well, downhill...sorry, other than a few cool car sequences, this will leave you shaking your head in sorrow. Made for the morons who spend more on their cars than educating themselves. Drive Smart !!

Tries too hard to be Initial D (real live movie), if you never heard of of Initial D all I can say is ... whatsamattawityou? Go and google it. I had high hopes cause the preview was promising, directed by Justin lin (Better Luck Tomorrow,which I enjoyed), hired actual drifters and its in Tokyo man. But to my dismay it was soooo Americanized even in Tokyo, there were like 3 main real races and the rest was filler. The last race had to be the mountain copied right out of Initial D, but at least they copied from the best. And whats up with the cars, you`re in Tokyo and you come up with Nissan 350Z`s. ICBC will have a reason to increase the insurance amount again. The movie itself is not bad, but then the drifting gets kinda annoying because they over did it. Great movie! Lucas Black did a good job in it. The car racing was pretty awesome! You could totally tell that they were in Japan, lol, the watching of the races on their cellphones... And for those of you who think it`s a bad example for kids, then you must have really dumb kids, cause I seriously doubt a kid with HALF a brain would try that. Ending was a total surprise... I wonder if there is a second Furious film in Lucas Black`s future?.....

this movie is meant for guys between the ages of 15 to 35. the movie is pure drifting, they TRIED to have a storyline, but it really doesn`t work. the drifting was good? but, there is only a certain number of times for them to drift around until you get really bored.
