Hilarious! Great cast! Love Melissa McCarthy's character! My husband loved it too!

When I had heard that the two main stars of this movie were Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy, I automatically though it was going to be hilarious and immediately looked up the trailer. The trailer was a little disappointing and made me think the movie was not going to be as funny, but I was wrong, it was hilarious. How could this combination disappoint. If you're looking for a good laugh, this movie is for you.

The Heat is your must see Comedy movie of the summer. Melissa McCarthy is on a roll as Shannon Mullins the local cop who is so loud and obnoxious she makes you cringe and then laugh till you cry. While uptight FBI agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) slowly sheds her clothes and unwinds as she teams up with Shannon as they take on the bad guys and have a "few" drinks. Lets hear a cheer for Girl Power!

Great to see women in 'buddy cop' roles for a change. Lots of laugh out loud moments.

I love Sandra Bullock in these type of shows. I have not yet heard of her (future) partner but would love to have the chance to see both of them in action.

Good Summer Fare. Lighthearted and makes for a wonderful escape

some of the scenes were a little over the top, but the movie was enjoyable and I did laff out loud at some scenes. Overall I give it 4/5 stars

Any movie with Sandra and Melissa I knew just had to be good as well as funny. However,in the first minutes when these two people got together, I wondered if perhaps the writers had forgotten the story, and instead wanted to shock the audience with the ongoing expletives. But, you know, it didn't take long to get used to it all and after a while I realized that I was learning another expressive language - perhaps one where I could never use it in polite society, or even anywhere else for that matter. OMG was that ever a funny movie. Like Bridesmaids, Melissa was crude and rude, but she played off Sandra wonderfully, and the two of them made the movie. Melissa looking for her bosses balls was hilarious.

I found 'The Heat' to be a fairly good comedy, but some of the humor by Melissa McCarthy was forced humor. The story line was good - not exactly original - but it filled the need for these two ladies to do their thing. Where Sandra Bullock actually did some acting to meet her characters persona, Melissa's acting - was it really acting or is this really her character?

This movie "The Heat" was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy made this move - the plot was good, the effects were great and the acting.... was phenomenal! From the fist scenes the the end of the movie and... even to the post movies snippets... this movie left me and the entire audience in stitches. The Heat has got to be a contender for best actress and supporting actress in a comedy. 5 full stars for sure!
