The Hunger Games

one of the best book-to-film adaptations i've seen.

disappointing. characters didn't seem emotionally connected to their characters.

much better than i had expected.

great movie, failed in comparison to the books though, but thats usually the case. i look forward to the others:)

if i hadn't read the book i wouldn't have been as involved with the characters as i was but i enjoyed it and would see it again.

loved the movie! i read the book a few years back and the movies still didn't disappoint.

it was really good! the story really pulls the viewer in. the social commentary of our our own society was a good reminder for us to appreciate our freedoms.

it was a decent movie. enjoyable if you read the book firstm, but i can see people being confused if they hadnt read the book before seeing the movie because there was a lot of the story left out in the movie.

probably the best movie i have seen in a long time. i had my reservations about it, i though it would just be another movie like twilight but i'm so happy i gave it a chance. i could watch it over and over, i am eagerly waiting for the second movie. an have began to read the books. this movie was heartbreaking, but such a beautiful movie !

i loved this movie! it kept my attention while i would otherwise not be interested in a movie of this genre. i haven't read the book but fellow movie-goers who have read the book didn't enjoy it as much.

i found it was not too focussed on blood and gore, even though the topic is very dark. its a fantasy which i find interesting.

did not read the book before watching the movie, but overall i enjoyed it. the costumes were awesome, the filming was great, and i was glad that it was not as gory and violent as it potentially could have been. i also thought the actors were excellent.

it was very much like the book... although the story did feel a little rushed at times. would have liked to see gale's character and his close relationship with katniss developed more.

it was a good and unique movie but they should not cut some parts of the book since the movie was only 2 hours and 22 mins long if they keep at least 95% then the movie would have been at least 3 hours like harry potter! but overall the action part was cool! more gore would be nice

i thought the actors were really good, the story was well played but it went by too fast and i felt like big parts of the book were missing. i wonder how much people who haven't read the book will understand the real purpose of the movie.
