The Hunger Games

I would like to take all the kids who think this is a great form of entertainment and put their names in a barrel. Pull out two of the names, 1 boy and 1 girl from each town/city and take them to a place where they will kill each other until only one survives. Then they’ll see how entertaining it is when their lives are on the line. We are raising sadist little creeps and I worry about any generation that thinks this is a great book or movie.

really? we get to be entertained by people who are giggling and entertained by kids being slaughtered? wasn't this seen in nazi germany? garbage!

heartbreaking. buts it's part of the story

wasn't sure if i truly enjoyed it as much as i did so i saw it again. yep, it's was even better 2nd time around. left wanting more and looking forward to next.

amzing im gonna go see it tomorrow for the third time!!! its my favorite movie!! can't wait for the second and third movie to come out!! they did change and leave out some things from the book but it is still an awesome movie

absolutly awesome. it is sad watching kids kill other kids. but its the story behind that, that caught my eye.

amazing!

this movie is not enjoyable but that doesn't mean that it isn't good. the film precious is a terrific film, but did i enjoy the first half no. in this film it is not about violence which many people seem to think. they fall into the trap of thinking that it is all about violence but it isn't. it in a way to me paralled the war in the middle east. we watch such things on television and don't say anything. also who goes over seas to fight the poor peoples kids not the rich peoples kids. suzanne collins was brilliant in making the children younger to get such a message across because all of the people that we watched die overseas no matter what country they were from they were sombody's child.

of all the teen books that depict a postapocalyptic future, this book to movie, is really well done! i'm excited to read the 2nd and 3rd installments of the book series.

phony movie!! isn't she supposed to kill people or be killed then why throw away a spear and cry so loud that everyone can hear you!! this movie annoyed me i can't figure out what the big hype is about!! waste of money!!

every movie has to leave some of the things out because in movies you have the ability to look over to what the other characters and doing where as in a book you have to stick with one person's point of view most of the time, but i thought this was a really great movie and book all together!!

the movie spent a great deal of time at the beginning which was to me a waste...i found it predictable but would have given it a 71/2 out of ten but the ending was pathetic and that means it gets a 5.5 out of ten, i would not go see again but might watch it on video so i can skip the bad parts
