Always disappointed to see Hollywood Americanize well-made foreign films, and this one was worse than most as it is poorly adapted and downright insulting in a lot of ways. Aja Naomi King and Nicole Kidman were the only bright spots, and their screentime was limited. Save yourself the money and aggravation by watching Intouchables (2009) instead. It's a delightful experience.

This was a cute movie. What I liked: the way Hart's character became sensitive to things like wait staff not talking directly to Cranston's character, you could see Hart's character growing. I liked the casting. There were heartwarming & comical moments. What I didn't like: the ending fell flat for me. This movie could have been better with a little clean up on the comedy scenes but again, like the ending they let it fall on it's face. This could have been a 5-star but they dropped it on its face. :( I didn't see the original). This is yet again another movie I'm glad I went to see but I wouldn't re-watch it or buy the DVD.

Cliche. If you've seen "Me, Before You" then you've seen a parallel version of this. I'm not sure what Nicole Kidman got out of this movie.

Meh. The original was much better. This one lost the charm and added nothing new.

Awesome, funny, drama at times - wonderful acting - except Nicole Kidman. Thankfully she is not in the scenes for long periods of time. I was still smiling and "laughing" to myself on the way home. Great movie - a must see !

Completely enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. Probably because of Kevin Hart, I expected more of a comedy and while it does have some very funny moments the movie's depth and emotion surprised me. Great movie - go see it.

I related to this movie because of my love of the series "Ironside" from 1967-75. There were several themes in the movie that related to the characters in the series. The relationship between the two men did not start well, but as time goes on, they grow to be close friends. The same thing happened in "Ironside". The movie also gave me an insight into what it might be like to deal with quadriplegia. I think that Kevin Hart and Brian Cranston were very convincing in their roles. I highly recommend the move.

Never thought I would spend the time to write a review of a movie, but after 70 plus years......here I go! A great story line with good acting by all. The movie made me want to skip out through the lobby. Lots of laughs and a really great message that we can all learn from each other and that life really is worth living. Miss this and not only will you miss a great movie, but also one of life's lessons.

I saw the original 'Intouchables'. This remake is just as fine. Do yourself a favor and make the time to see this movie. And look up the other, too, as a gift to yourself.

I thought this movie was great. I don't watch much tv not do I go out to the movies much. It had cheesy parts, but I thought it was still worth my time and money.

A complete movie, comedic and dramatic and romantic. Enormous talent in the key roles, huge bucks in the sets and technical tricks. Surprises in the conclusions--couldn't see them coming, but perfectly fitting. With wife and friend, we loved it.

True story. Many lessons of life could be learned from this movie. No swearing, no nudity. The unexpected could be the best thing to happen to a person. A great movie. Highly recommend.

Real storyline, actors were great, funny and sad. I noticed that when the movie was over no one wanted to leave!

2 stars for choosing to remake a film that was wonderful the first time around. No further stars since this was dull and flat. Stick to the original, if the subtitles aren't too much of a distraction.
