X-Men: First Class

Best X-men movie by far, not a huge fanatic of the series in general but a very very good film. The actor playing Magneto is incredible; just an entertaining and interesting film overall.

Although at times the film is slow it is a surprisingly very good movie. It shows us how the relationship between Professor Xavier & Magneto began (as well as the relationship between Xavier & Raven/Mystique). The film continues to hammer the theme echoed by the X-MEN trilogy regarding tolerance towards those who are different. The story is methodically told. The special effects were good & not overwhelming. The casting of McAvoy & Fassbender is spot on. I also liked how they used actual historical events and intertwined them into a fictional film. I would've given the movie 5 stars, but for an inconsistency which involves who created Cerebro (one explanation was provided in this movie

This movie blew my mind! Incredible plotline and the character development was fantastic. You will have some clashes if you compare every tiny detail with the other films, especially Xmen Origins: Wolverine, but if you over-look that and just see this film for what it's worth. It's amazing entertainment and the action is epic! 5 Stars!

Brilliant. Those who have watched the other X-Men sequels and found them at least somewhat enjoyable should watch this one. It's great when you come across a movie that pays attention to detail and is smart.

You really have to know about characters to get into them as youth. Some of the actors deliver wooden performances. Story is saved in last 30 minutes.

Really glad I saw this in the theatre. I've been a fan of the X-Men franchise for a long time and this movie did not disappoint. Awesome action sequences. Definitely recommend!

Great flick. Good job with writing for the 1960's and explaining Hank McCoy's genious and how Beast started, and Havoc as Scott Sommers father obviously, and explaining how Raven/Mystic apparently ages slowly so she can appear youthful in the previous xmen movies. Great references to the future films. Acting certainly helped in this movie but January Jones was a waste of time. Does she have acting abilities???? Otherwise it was great and worth seeing in theatres.

This was very well done if a little long. Lots of similarities to Star Wars.

The movie was great.... I was really young when i watched the cartoon and had pretty much forgotten the whole story... the movie talks a lot about the history of how things began which was really interesting and portrayed professor X's passion very well...

Great X-Men movie, like how the add the beginning of the first X-Men movie into the beginning of this movie, my two problem with the movie is were is polaris and these are not the First X-MEN

This is the best of the X-men movies. You don't even need to see the others to see this one. It even plays to any age to feel good about yourself no matter what you don't like. Lot's of lessons taught throughout this movie. This one I would probably buy the DVD and watch over and over again. Excellent movie.

Awsome movie! Love that there taking x-men to another level. Not catering so much to the little kids and more to the grown ups. Cant wait for part 2!

good movie with a good story of how the battle between prof x and magneto begins . . . i know it doesn't follow the comics but these movies are for a new generation . . . worst part of the film is the the fact that it takes place in 1962 if they bring the next movie into present time all the characters will be in their 70's or 80's it was way to early of a starting point for the story best part is there were no real mistakes in casting like it every other x men movie no mistakes like anna paquin as rogue or halle berry as storm well let's be honest outside of hugh jackman, james stewart, ian macellen and kelsey grammer the rest of the cast should have been fired along with the writer

Wow loved it how they put things together and all. Love the cameos. Loved a new twist on some beloved characters. A summer must!
